Reading for 10-5 thru 10-11-20

This week we have two of the 2’s. When we look at the energy of the number two we find the inherent polarity of recognition. The Aces are One. They’re whole, complete, undivided. They simply are with no way to regard themselves. Once the whole splits to two it can regard itself and so begins the dance of division, recognition and reconnection. With the ability to define the energy of the whole we see a mirror image and from there seek to realign the opposites into balance.

The Center card is the 2 of Cups.

The 2 of Cups allows us to see the polarities of spirit we find in our emotional and empathic connections with others and, more importantly, with self. Having split the pure energy of empathy and emotion and looked from one to the other we can now see the hopes and fears, devotion and denial, understanding and animosity of opposite sides. From that perspective we seek to reconcile or balance the polarity. Like the idea of twin flames or two souls in one heart, the impetus to heal and forgive is strong. For this week we will likely be given opportunities to heal some of the more challenging and difficult interactions we’ve dealt with over the past 3 or 4 weeks. Under this energy we feel a deep compassion plus a desire to dispel issues of anger, fear or confusion. I would not be surprised to find people asking questions that they’ve been avoiding and making suggestions and requests that would not normally be broached out of feelings of fear of rejection or ridicule. The gentle and healing intention we find ourselves working with relieves those fears showing us the paper tigers that most of them were to begin with.

The West card is the 2 of Pentacles.

With this two the mirror-image recognition we face is both sides of our relationship with resources; time, energy, money and the physical body. We’re literally looking at both sides of the same coin. We search to find the balance between being influenced by monetary or material things and striving for mastery over that part of being human. We can see the pros and cons and, with the gentle energy of the 2 of Cups at the center, we feel confident enough to be honest with ourselves about how much materialism controls our actions as well as how we can bring ourselves to mastery of those material concerns. Some questions to contemplate might be: Is that job, car, bank account, jewelry, cosmetic, vacation, etc., worth the work necessary to bring it to fruition? What do I lose of myself or those I care about by spending my energies on endeavors of wealth and prestige?

The East card is the 9 of Wands.

In this nine we find the a conduit between major opposites. In the image on the card, front and center is a large and powerful wand acting as a bridge between the sun and the moon. Behind this powerful bridge we see a complex and interwoven tapestry of energy which flows and intersects in myriad ways. The center wand acts as the force drawing together varying, complementary and disparate energies into a single beam so that this beam is much greater than the sum of its parts and unique in its given purpose. It takes strength of purpose and great fortitude to face our judgements about money and materialistic attitudes but with the compassion and recognition of both of the twos we find a unique ability to work the magic of pure intent needed to bring these bits of ourselves to a balanced completion.

In conclusion;

This is a week of recognition and re-discovery. Stepping back to take a good look at aspects of ourselves we’ve been out of touch with regarding the tension between our spiritual, empathic selves and the responsible and physical parts we can now see ways to embrace, accept, forgive and honor that balance.

Have a week of realization.

Light, Tory
