Indeed, any visible outer changes in your appearance are just a signal of inner health problems in the majority of cases. Acne goes first of these cases and it is rooted deeply in our way of nutrition.

Before speaking about the products, which promote the disease let’s try to find out what is it “acne” and where are the reasons for this phenomena.

Thus, ACNE is the violation of normal skin condition related to changing oil balance and appearing the different kinds of lesions. Usually, the pimples are the primary sign of acne. They could vary from barely noticeable dark spots to serious severe lesions influencing the quality of human life.

In both cases, there could be only two REASONS promoting the development of the disease: hormones (when it is said about the period of puberty) and food. So, if you are constantly eating the products with the high glycemic index, high sugar level or greasy food you may be in a risk group, and it is time to change your ration.

It is worth mentioning that a special diet can help in mitigating acne in both cases: provoked by unhealthy nutrition and hormonal changes as well.

Let's talk about the products YOU SHOULD EXCLUDE from your daily menu to minimize the symptoms and making your organism stronger.

Milk

Milk is often associated with health, but not in the case of acne. This product causes increasing the sugar level in blood enhancing the inflammatory process, which results in eruptions. Moreover, milk raises the insulin production that in its turn stimulates the production of sebum. It also contains the hormones influencing the production of sebum and excrescence of skin cells, which block the pores.

Fast Carbohydrates and the Products with High Glycemic Index

The list of the products containing fast carbohydrates and having high glycemic index is rather long. Among the most popular are soda, pastries, sweets, potatoes, corn products, etc. GS Diamonds recommend refusing from eating the bagels and white bread, breakfast, and instant cereals, especially sweetened and stuffed with milk, some fruits, and vegetables containing sugar (pumpkins, pineapples or melons), enriched kinds of pasta, snack-foods.

Eating these items causes the raising of insulin level, and consequently, promotes the hormonal imbalance and sebum regulation. Moreover, such way of nutrition promotes overloading the body with toxins, violating the normal metabolism.

Instant Coffee

There are many disputable thoughts concerning interrelation between drinking coffee and acne. The majority of research admits that caffeine is the biggest threat of this drink. This element influences the production of insulin, obstructs the assimilation of vitamins and violates the activity of the gastrointestinal tract. Indeed, if natural coffee contains over one thousand microelements balancing the harming influence of caffeine and causing positive influence on the human organism (if drinking coffee is not excessive).

At the same time, instant coffee is a chemical mixture, which does not regulate the negative potential of caffeine.

There are multiple anti-acne products which YOU SHOULD ADD to your daily ration.

Green Tea

Korean researchers have found that green tea contains the epigallocatechin-3-gallate—the most potent antioxidant. This element activates the cleaning of the body by withdrawing toxins, promotes narrowing the pores (they are widened in the case of acne) and decreasing the level of sebum production.

Products with Omega-3 Fatty Acids

Scientists consider this element one of the most meaningful one for healthy functioning of the human body. Speaking about acne problem, we should say that their antiphlogistic effect is of the highest value. To combat the symptoms of acne you can add to your daily menu the fish, flax and mustard seed, soy products, wild rice, spinach, and kale.

Foods Rich in Vitamin A and Zink

To regulate metabolism, people should receive a full complex of vitamins and microelements. Since Vitamin A and Zink participates in regulating sebum production, they are the most important to include in the anti-acne diet. So, the biggest concentration of them you can find in beef liver, oysters, and wheat germ, pumpkin and watermelon seeds.

Fruits and Vegetables

Vegetation is a good way to withdraw the toxins from the body, regulate sebum production and metabolism. Dark berries contain many phytochemicals elements having a positive influence on the skin condition. Moreover, fruit and vegetables containing beta-carotene contribute to decreasing the sebum production and cause the antiphlogistic effect.

Probiotics

Professionals claim that intestinal microflora influences the overall condition of the body balancing the inflammation level. Because of this, when you suffer from acne you should pay attention to regulation your intestinal microflora. Eating the fermented products like lactic products and yogurt, miso soup, fermented cabbage could help you in neutralizing harmful bacteria and normalize the functioning of the intestine, and consequently reduce the acne symptoms.
