Here is a list of 5 simple habits which will help you live an enriching life.

Have a downtime —

Working hard every day will eventually burn you out. You work hard from morning till evening to provide a better life for your family. Frequently overwhelmed with what your partner and kids need that you forget that you are a human and need rest to function.

Take a half an hour break and enjoy what you love. Listen to music, go for a walk, have a cup of coffee, enjoy your favorite drink. It’s an opportunity to pick up a new habit, learn a new language, or play a musical instrument.

Unwinding will help you perform better without breaking down, feel enriched and fuelled. So every day take a break and relax.

Your body needs to replenish to boost the function of each body part. A grown-up adult needs around 3 liters of water every day.

No! drinking tea, coffee doesn’t count as water. Instead, add smoothies to your diet that will bring a lot more nutrients needed by your body.

Try to carry a water bottle everywhere you go. Keep a bottle on your desk during work.

You can add lemon and honey to your morning, this will make your water tasty and aid in weight loss.

Walk with your partner, your pet, or your kids and enjoy walks. This will bring you close and build a strong relationship. Walks do not have to be a punishment. Enjoy this time to listen to your favorite music, audiobook, or podcast.

Don't confine yourself, go bask yourself in the beautiful parks, watch the sunset on the beach. Enjoy walks in nature whenever you can.

Meditate —

Every day you go through so many emotions, challenges, and stress, it’s important to relax and calm your mind.

To achieve the state of mindfulness you need to spend at least 5 mins meditating. The best time to meditate is when you wake up and before going to bed. This prepares you for the day ahead and gives you a peaceful sleep.
