Don’t like your reality? Shift it.

Using Your Imagination to Change Your Life

We have all been students of the Law of Attraction for decades. We know it inside and out, upways, and sideways, and downways. Here’s my question for you. Has it worked for you so far? Of course it has. You wake up every day, you experience things, you see things. You’re alive, but you’re not creating anything new. Maybe some little things here and there. We’ve been referring to them as sychronicities for a while now. Aren’t you about ready to give up on it all? That’s what I have started to feel like lately. I was getting discouraged.

What I realized is that I have been learning it, not living it. For me, it all comes down to this quote from the movie The Matrix.

“Neo, sooner or later you’re going to realize just as I did that there’s a difference between knowing the path and walking the path. Knowing is not enough, you must apply; willing is not enough, you must do.”

It’s when we begin to change our beliefs that things start to shift. I used to think the Law of Attraction was only about changing your thoughts. Thoughts are part of it, yes, but let’s look closer at what a belief is. A belief is an acceptance that something exists. That something already exists. Yes, the underlying thoughts support and maintain a belief, but it does not have to be corrected in that particular order. You can decide to change a belief in something before changing the thought patterns that support it. In fact, I think that’s what we have to do in order to utilize the Law of Attraction in everyday life. We must decide that we believe that there is a reality that exists where I already have what I want. This demands that you believe in the existence of parallel realities. You must know that the reality already exists in order to tune into it or to align with it.

Your belief must be locked and loaded. You must not falter from your belief in any other reality. No matter what you experience with your physical senses, you stay aligned with your belief in the new reality. Use your imagination. Get specific. I know Abraham says stay general, but we’re evolving. It’s time to get specific. We can’t fly when all we ever do is crawl, right? So think of what you want. Take the time to engage and set the belief that you already have it. Imagine it with your third eye, which is just another name for your imagination. See yourself holding it, spending it, loving it, experiencing joy from it, and receiving it. Watch this amazing Ted Talk with my friend Pam Oslie. She begins talking about shifting her life to alternate realities at 10:22.

Who are you to say what your consciousness is capable of? The double slit experiment proved our consciousness has an effect on reality. With all the reading I have done about quantum physics, I know we create reality with our consciousness. Something that we don’t believe in cannot enter our reality! You must expand your beliefs and your consciousness in order to experience it! Our beliefs set the boundaries of the reality we experience. Unlimited thinking and infinite possibilities is where we are headed. Things are really about to get interesting on this planet! What if we choose to believe in complete health and wellness, abundance, love, joy, and peace for ourselves and our families? What about the possibility of eternal life? Mind blowing, isn’t it? Not really. Our bodies are constantly regenerating and replacing cells, skin, and body parts. If our mind and its beliefs control our reality, then imagine what’s really going to be possible once we get good at it!! It’s such an exciting time to be alive!!!
