Crystals are one of the most powerful tools in a witch's toolkit, The most important thing to remember about Crystals and stones is that they all have different properties and they all have different ways you need to care for them.

Before we start listing each stone and its properties, It's important to give you a quick rundown on how to charge and cleanse your crystals.

There are quite a few different ways to cleanse your crystals;

1. Put them on a windowsill on a full moon to allow the rays to cleanse and charge.

2. Place them outside in the rain to cleanse them with water.

3. If it's not raining you can simply cleanse them with sea salt and water in a jar.

4. Smudge them with sage

Now that you know how to cleanse your crystals, its time to learn their meanings and uses.

Clear Quartz- Amplifies Energies, Is generally a healing stone and can be used as a supplemental stone; Helps build mental clarity and aids in protection + Physic abilities.

Citrine- Attracts Wealth, Abundance, and positivity; A powerful crystal for building confidence and for overcoming challenges.

Rose Quartz- Attracts pure love and positive friendships, It also heals emotional wounds and invites compassion and care into your life. Rose Quartz encourages beneficial connections and attunes to the goddess.

Aventurine- Helps you let go of struggles and Attracts new opportunities, Boosts prosperity, Perseverance and helps you diffuse negative emotions.

Smoky Quartz- Helps to disperse and relinquish fear, Lifts depression and negativity. Smoky Quartz offers you emotional calm and helps relieve anxiety and stress.

Amethyst- This Crystal is often associated with the third eye and physic abilities, Its used to ward off nightmares, Amplify your connection to the other side and simultaneously protect you.

Carnelian- For those of you who have been on TikTok lately, this Crystal seems to be all the rage; Carnelian is known as an overall positive stone, It promotes good life choices, confidence, vitality, motivation, and stimulates creativity.

Selenite- This crystal is known for its innate power, Its extremely helpful in healing, Promotes overall peace and calm energy along with mental clarity and a positive well-being + It helps you connect to the higher realms.

Bloodstone- Increases courage, Motivation and Creative Energy; Its most powerful uses is for physical strength, Endurance and its ability to remove energy blockages.

Lepidolite- This is the stone of transition, It helps you heal, Move past stagnance and promotes forgiveness and compassion.

Hematite- Grounds emotions and helps remove negative energy and intent; Generally a protection stone, Enhances concentration and focus and encourages original thoughts.

Flourite- Promotes clear thinking and decision making, Assists in clearing negative energies and Enhances stability.

Obsidian- A grounding stone that is powerful in its intent to protect; Repels negative energies and helps you find the truth around you.

Of course, these aren't all the crystals out there, but it's definitely enough to get you started. Depending on the type of crystal and their variations of colors the meanings and intentions of stones can change.

Remember that not all stones can be subjected to the sun for long periods of time such as; Amethyst, Aventurine, Calcite, Aquamarine, Citrine, and Clear quartz for starters.
