ALL BUSES ON THE ZAMBIAN ROADS MUST HAVE HAND SANITIZERS TO STOP THE SPREAD OF COVID ~19 !

The Towns and Cities administrations in Zambia must stand up and help to stop the spread COVID ~19 by coming up with containment measures after President Dr.Lungu has made available all the tools to them . All Zambian public buses must have hand sanitizers .

“In collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Local Government Ministry and all those of us who are volunteers, we need to launch a system in placeand make sure that all transporters follow the rules .

The Towns and Cities administrations around the Nation must also put together Youth Volunteer Task-Force to help people with hand washing at designated points around the Country. Why don’t the boys that hang around bus stations and markets be used .

We need to see those responsible working, don’t wait until we have deaths because of your poor planning in managing Transit issues, make sure that every bus that operates on our roads has a hand sanitizer dispenser on.

In response to the latest developments with the COVID~19 donot take things for granted, the Local Government must be seen to be expanding its mandate to protect the Citizenry . Why are the buses not having hand sanitizers? Are waiting for JESUS to come and tell us what to do ? What is wrong with us Zambians. Honorable Minister Banda [Local Government] where are you?

Can we have all the busses installed with hand sanitizers on 1/3 of its vehicles, which operate on all routes, as part of a provisional to protect all. During this time, We as a People and Nation must monitor the: use, durability and the customer response to this amenity. We cannot be sitting around when we all know that COVID~19 is able to get to royals , VIP’s , so what about our poor populations , regarding COVID~19 strand, the authorities must now be prompted act and to expand the program to the rest of the fleet on our roads in the Republic of Zambia.

. We must be thinking that expanding the above idea to public transit will make a lot of sense”. “We all know that our buses have nothing to help protect our People in transit riding the public Buses”

The hand sanitizer dispensers must conveniently be located just past the call boys, for use as the passengers enters the vehicle.

Cleaning, Sanitizing, and Targeted Disinfecting on the Buses must be P1 because we all live in mobile environments that are prone to the spread of infectious diseases such as colds and the flu and COVID~19 that can kill anyone . In addition to the number of People on the move who may introduce bacteria and viruses when they board the bus, surfaces such as the seat backs and handrails can also contribute to the further spread of COVID~19 of which all that has been over looked .

A comprehensive cleaning program with a written protocol for infection control can help prevent the spread of pathogens COVID~19 (germs) that cause infectious diseases on buses and throughout the entire environment . It also ensures that facilities and buses use the most appropriate products and procedures available for the task to help avoid exposing product users and occupants to potential health hazards like the killer COVID~19 .

Authorities in all our Ten [10] Provinces must set up ANTI COVID~19 Task Forces to help in the disinfection of public buses as part of efforts to curtail possible spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

“Action must be taken to reduce the risk of transmitters by making sure that all buses are providing alcohol-based cleaning that allow transporters and their customers to keep observe safe hygiene and to maintain hand-held vehicle surfaces,” ..
