Mindset + Muscle + Movement

AGING YOUNGER could be my most impactful theme for coaching personal empowerment, to help all those who got off track and restore those who had a full train wreck. The human machine is incredibly resilient—while its advantageous to begin earlier than later, all of us can still have our best chapter ahead of us!

You can always rebuild to reverse aging and enjoy thinking and moving more vibrantly. The time is always Now—and the right time to start—whatever your age, whatever your stage.

Don’t think Aging Younger is aimed at “old people” whatever that is! If you are 25 and used to be 20, you’ve aged. The only question is which direction. Straight up, from what I see, most 25 year olds are not on track, despite that they could have harnessed those 5 years to truly rock!

When I speak of aging, in 2019, and pissing away opportunity, to self-impose difficulty and limitations upon oneself, I’m speaking more to folks in their 20’s and 30’s but this applies to us all.

There is much larger conversation around this. But suffice to say I’ve had my health, body and brain assaulted, mega high stress difficulties and a few more years added to my life, yet today seem to be more open minded, peaceful, happy, physically fit and pain free than most and definitely a lot younger than the average person half my age.

ACT YOUR AGE!

Certainly experience and wisdom are advantages yet not if biological age advances beyond chronological age.

We used to be told to “act our age” when we were being silly and should be acting older.

Today however that takes on new meaning. “Act your age” in 2019 can only mean to not be so negative, overweight, ill, angry, or sedentary when one’s true chronological age is much younger.

Fit, healthy, happy, positive, and with a human vehicle that moves well can be like fine wine and good scotch—we can improve with age and have much within our control.

Age is simply time and with time we can learn, grow, practise, train, and upgrade many parts of ourselves.

Moving well, feeling good, looking strong, and with a happy cellular landscape are positive effects of using the time in aging to our advantage.

FOOD for FUEL

Pay attention to how food makes you feel in addition to the energy it may provide and waistline we develop. No dieting, no restriction, no complicated calculations. Make complex simple by selecting real whole nutrient dense foods that upgrade our body from the inside out and help us think clearer. If we are lethargic or gain fat, eat healthier and move more. Leave space in your attention to focus on mindset to positively affect everything.

MINDSET BEFORE MUSCLE

Change how you look at things and the things you look at change. Shifting our perspective, taking things less personally, and being more present are powerful tools that smooth our path and recognize beauty in each day. A grateful person is a happy person—a positive state helps us feel and think younger and is key to being active.

MOVEMENT FOR MINDSET

Physical activity is a celebration of what we are capable of and an opportunity to improve our human vehicle so we can enjoy a wider spectrum of life experiences. Aging 10 years using that time to become fit and strong, learning to ski, and celebrating a birthday skiing the double blacks then laughing and smiling with friends after to an apres band is an example of utilizing our time to age younger.

You truly do own the process and can find empowerment and motivation in this. How you think what you eat and when you move is up to you. Move forward toward an active healthy positive energy lifestyle taking small steps today that help over time to set you up for success.

You don’t need to race but you do need to be consistent. Make your daily habits sustainable so it’s a 365 program you can enjoy feeling better moving well looking great for the longterm.
