Most people refer to the pineal gland as the third eye, but they are both one and the same, so the term you use matters very little in the grand scheme of things.

If you are someone who is currently seeking to awaken your third eye, this post is a nice little chunk of guidance for you to find the method that works for you.

Be mindful, though, that in order to activate this gland, you must implement an awful lot of practice and patience before you begin to see results.

Each heading below will highlight a tip on how you can begin the process of opening your minds eye, so have a read through and focus on one or more of these to help you along.

Sunlight Exposure

This is a crucial aspect of activating your pineal gland, especially morning light, as it begins the release of melatonin and aids in the function of the third eye.

Darkness Exposure

Just like exposure to sunlight, sleeping in complete darkness for a period of time will also release a great deal of melatonin, which helps with the same cause.

Limit Blue-Light

Too much exposure to sources of blue light can severely impact the amount of melatonin we receive and will end up suppressing the production of it.

Daily Meditation

A persistent schedule for sitting somewhere / laying somewhere quietly and practising being mindful has a great many benefits toward activating the gland.

Yoga | Exercise

The most common form of yoga that helps are those that invert the body i.e. so that your head is upside down, increasing the blood flow to the pineal gland.

Visualisation

Pull your focus in toward the space between your brows, directly into your third eye, imagining tones of purple to help with the progression of activation.

Avoid Fluoride

This is present within our drinking water, toothpaste and any other products that contain within them, such as fizzy drinks. Avoid them as much as possible.

Refined Sugar

Most people know this is bad for the body in general, so try to avoid consuming refined sugars.. It will help remove inflammation and improve the gland function.

De-Stress

A common issue for all trying to activate their pineal gland arises when they are unable to release stress, but doing so will assist in the avoidance of calcification.

There are many types of methods you can apply when you are looking to open your third eye, or perhaps reverse calcification.

So be sure to choose the one that works for you and be sure to practice it daily!

Awakening your third eye is not a one step process and for many it can take months or even years, depending on their dedication toward making it happen.
