Everyone needs sleep. But in reality, most of us are not getting enough sleep. Unfortunately, there is no such button that can make you sleep quickly by pressing and then you feel refreshed after getting up. Therefore, you should prepare yourself properly in the day, for a good night's sleep.

For better sleep, try these tips and tricks that have been tried for centuries and are very effective, which helps to sleep quickly and comfortably. Sleep is important for us to be able to feel good and behave normally. It is true that there are times during which you suffer from insomnia. Therefore, it may be hard for you to get sleep at night, or you often wake up at night and have difficulty falling back to sleep.

Insomnia is more common in women than it is in men. People who suffer from insomnia, which lasts longer than a few days or a few weeks, should seek medical advice. However, if it is the issue of short periods of insomnia, then the following are the tips on what you can do to facilitate sleep.

Here are eight tips to facilitate sleep mode:

1. Try herbs instead of pills:

To wake up the next morning without feeling lethargic and to improve your sleep quality, resort to herbs instead of sleeping pills. Start with lavender and chamomile. They are sleeping helpers. Apart from this, they have another advantage. Gardening proves to help calm the nerves of the brain, so growing them at home will give you double the benefit.

2. Keep your stomach happy:

You really need to keep your stomach happy at night and it starts from the very morning. Therefore, your breakfast should be the heaviest meal of the day and dinner should be very light. You need energy to digest what you eat.

If you eat heavy food late in the day, when you go to sleep then your body will have to work hard to sleep. So try not to sleep hungry, but also avoid eating heavy food before bedtime.

3. Eat bananas in the evening:

Banana works in two ways. First of all, it is a form of carbohydrate, so it brings sleep. Also, they contain magnesium and potassium to relax the muscles naturally.

4. Add a little Melatonin:

Melatonin is a hormone that relaxes you and makes you sleepy. Naturally rich items of melatonin are

I. Fruits and vegetables - Corn, Asparagus, Tomatoes, Pomegranate, Olives, Grapes, Broccoli, Cucumber.

II. Cereals - Rice, Barley and Oats.

III. Fruits and seeds - walnuts, peanuts, sunflower seeds, mustard seeds, and flax seeds.

5. Ventilate the bedroom:

If possible, one should ventilate the bedroom every day. You can take it as routine to open a window in the bedroom an hour a day.

6. Keep the bedroom clean and tidy:

Get rid of all the unwanted items. A bedroom should feel clean and airy. Do not take out the items needed in the bedroom and the bedding out of the bedroom. A neat and tidy bedroom provides a calmer impression.

7. Change the bedding often:

Change the pillowcase, sheets and pillow covers quite often. I do not mean several times a week, but at least every two weeks if possible. Fresh cloth does wonders for a good sleep.

8. Spray some good scent in the bedroom:

If you are not allergic to perfumes, you can very well spray a few drops of some good scents like lavender or eucalyptus in the bedroom. There are a few soothing scents that refreshes the bedroom.

Air freshener, as they are generally called, you can buy them in different variants of scents. I use lavender scent that I have kept at the top of a window in the corner of the bedroom.
