Below are 5 reasons why most of us fail to lose weight and what you can do today to transform your body and your life.

Reason # 1: Adopting an eating plan because someone else is successful.

You are unique not only in personality but also in biology, so adapting a diet that works for someone else may not work for you. Of course, the best way to determine its worth is to try it, but don't blame yourself if it doesn't work. You did not fail, but instead, the food did not suit you.

Instead: embrace an eating plan that works for you. Use your body as a laboratory and try different projects and track how you feel. Most people adopt a diet plan that combines multiple diet theories with the release of lifelong weight.

Reason # 2: Don't think of all or nothing

How often do you say this: "I was good all week, then I was bad today. Oh, I can eat a whole pie!" Dear readers, you are always good and never bad. You are not your diet plan. None of us are perfect, so accept your imperfection! I guarantee that sometimes you slip. A slip does not matter, what you do with it will determine your success.

Instead: overeat in imperfection. Recall you are generally great and slips don't make any difference. Take note of it and move forward on the weight loss highway.

Many of us give up because we cannot afford the scale to register that magical number. Even worse, we build our value on inanimate objects. We only have indirect control over these machines. Plus, the scale measurements are inconsistent, we can fluctuate 5 pounds in 24 hours!

Instead: think of the scale as just a tool and take back your energy. Go on it the same day and weekly at the same time. Track your weight and determine a healthy range and risk number. The risk number is the weight at which the clothes start to feel a little comfortable. When you look at that number and more often than not, you can notice and tweak your diet. Take note and do not offend yourself.

Also, use extra measures like your clothing. The quantity may be false but the waistband always tells the truth.
