Here are a few ways to improve the quality of your life and become a better version of yourself.

Did you know that there are life changing questions that are capable of changing your whole life? Many of the most impactful things we do in our lives all boils down to the decisions that we organically make.

Every once in a while while we go through different chapters in our life we must take a step back and do some self introspection to examine where we are and where we need to be.

WIthout a doubt the biggest and most important areas to put the most emphasis on will hands down be work, love, relationships, spirituality and money.

Now take a look at your life and see which of these areas have taken a toll and not at the level that you want it to be at. Keep in mind that at any given time one or more of these can be a bit off. But many of these should have a foundation laid and where you want it to be.

Otherwise you´ll need to assess which ones are off and take the much needed steps required to get it aligned. This type of self reflection is well worth it, and may take some soul searching and even meditation to restore the overall quality of your life.

As you improve these things you´re life with instantly have a boost of zest and a feeling of being on top of the world.

What is quality of life?

The definition of the quality of life is the standard of health, comfort, and happiness experienced by an individual or group. The general well-being of individuals, outlining positive and negative features of life.

What factors determine the quality of life?

To name a few factors that determine the quality of life: your environment, education, health, work status, living condition or environment as well as your social and leisure interactions.

How does one´s quality of life diminish?

This can be due to a number of factors . A few things that can interfere with mere basic aspects of daily living. For example when an everyday function such as health is impacted negatively, a persons quality of life can be impacted significantly.

How is the quality of life measured?

The overall analysis of our life is measured by life satisfaction (cognitive appreciation) as well as a persons feelings or emotional states both negative and positive).

How does one´s environment affect their quality of life?

Our environment play a role in our adulthood. What we learn and what we see starts at home when we are toddlers. This determines how we go through life as grow older and how life will pay out for us based off of our past experiences.

Why is our quality of life so important?

It is important because it is comprised of more that just general daily activities, health or functional ability.

So what makes up a well lived quality of life?

Below I´ve jotted down some thought provoking questions that will help guide you to successfully make any necessary changes to your life.

Here are ten questions to ask yourself that will improve your life

  1. Where do I want to be in my life?
  2. Where exactly do I want to be in minimum one to three years?
  3. What are my immediate goals and the steps I need to get to be successful?
  4. What are my priorities based on?
  5. Is there anything holding me back from achieving my goals?
  6. What am i doing to actively make myself available to new opportunities?
  7. How much time am i willing to dedicate to achieving my goals?
  8. Am i abandoning my talents or gifts or applying it to my future?
  9. Is there something that I´ve been wanting to do but haven´t done yet?
  10. Am I ready to face my fears and take control of my life?

Which questions do you think would make the biggest impact on your life?

I personally believe that the last question is the one that you should spend the most time on because it is profound and life changing. The results can be life altering when the time is applied to the betterment of your life.

Remember to always keep it simple and always look forward and never backwards. Have fun and manage your time effectively. Face your fears and just do it. You shouldn´t live with what ifs or be afraid to change directions.
