Passing ships on the open sea,

A dance of sorts, a symphony,

Each one with a different tale,

Of loves and losses, winds and gales.

The waves they crash, the wind it howls,

As ships pass by, with solemn prowls,

The ocean vast, the horizon far,

A canvas painted with each ship’s scars.

Some ships are large, grand and proud,

Their sails billowing, their engines loud,

They glide with ease, majestic and tall,

A sight to behold, a wonder for all.

Other ships are small, unassuming and meek,

With makeshift sails and hulls that creak,

But they too have stories, they too have dreams,

And sometimes they’re the ones that gleam.

Passing ships, they come and go,

Each one leaving a different glow,

Some leave a mark, a memory,

While others fade, like an old melody.

They carry cargoes, treasures and goods,

Or people seeking new neighborhoods,

They cross the seas, with hope and fears,

And sometimes even shed some tears.

The passing ships, they are a sight,

In the day and even at night,

Their lights like stars, in the dark they shine,

Guiding sailors, to the next shore line.

Oh passing ships, you inspire,

With your journeys, your struggles, your fire,

You remind us all, of the vastness out there,

And how much there is, to see and share.

So let us honor, each passing ship,

With a toast, a song, a tip of the lip,

For they carry the dreams, of many a soul,

And help us reach, our ultimate goal.

Passing ships upon the sea,

Sailing through life wild and free,

Their stories hidden, out of sight,

But oh, the tales they could recite.

Each vessel bears a different mark,

A unique journey in the dark,

Some drift aimlessly, lost at sea,

Others with purpose, intent to be.

Their wakes are like a fleeting dream,

Left behind in the ocean's stream,

A trail of memories and hope,

A promise of what they can cope.

Sometimes they pass without a sound,

Onward to the horizon bound,

And we, ashore, can only wonder,

What fate they'll face, what spell they're under.

Passing ships, they come and go,

In the ebb and flow of the undertow,

A transient moment, a glimpse in time,

As they journey through life's chime.

Yet some ships leave a lasting trace,

Etched in our hearts, a sacred place,

Their spirit lingers, an inspiration,

To live life with joy and dedication.

They remind us that we're not alone,

That we're all on this journey, far from home,

That we can weather the storms of life,

And sail towards a brighter light.

So here's to the passing ships we see,

May they inspire us to be free,

To chart our course with courage and grace,

And leave a lasting mark on this earthly race.

Passing ships on the boundless sea,

Each on its own journey to be free,

In the distance, they appear so small,

But their stories are grand, and they stand tall.

The first ship that passes by,

Is old and battered, with sails torn high,

But the crew is brave and steadfast,

And they navigate the waves with skillful craft.

Their journey has been long and hard,

Through stormy seas, and winds that barred,

Their progress to a steady pace,

But they persevere with grace.

The second ship that comes to view,

Is sleek and modern, with a crew so new,

They glide upon the waves with ease,

As if they own the ocean breeze.

Their journey has been short and sweet,

With a destination that they'll meet,

In no time, they'll be ashore,

And their voyage will be no more.

The third ship that sails on by,

Is like a mirage in the sky,

It's beauty and grace, so divine,

It seems to glow, as if it were a sign.

Its sails are white as fresh snow,

And the wind carries it to and fro,

A wonder of the sea and sky,

It captures the heart, with a gentle sigh.

Each ship tells a story of its own,

Of adventure, courage, and trials unknown,

They pass each other, without a word,

But their journeys, we can all afford.

For passing ships, remind us all,

That life's journey is never small,

And though we may sail alone,

We're never lost, for we're all on our own.

So let us raise a glass to those,

Who sail the seas, and brave the unknown,

May they find their way to their hearts desire,

And inspire us all, with their endless fire.
