Make Passive Cash
Make Money on Your Free Time
Everyone knows that you can take surveys to make petty cash. This article will have nothing to do with that. I will be sharing with you ways you can make $2-$100 plus doing almost nothing. I wrote myself a list comprised of 19 websites that I use, but out of that 19 there are a good 9 that I love. I will write it in the order of what you will get paid more for doing while the last will be what you get paid less for.
1. UTest
Utest is right now my favorite site to use. It was discretely mentioned in one of my past articles as 'the Facebook research thing.' With Utest you make an account, complete your profile, and then link it to your Paypal. You can sign up for any test cycles. At the end of each cycle you are paid same day. It's super easy; they teach you how to search for bugs in apps and websites etc. or you can sign up for product testing. A cycle is usually around 5 days. Some people become dedicated to this site and make around $3,000 a month but I only use it as a passive income so I don't make that much. All I did was download this app in the background that just collects data and I get paid.
2. Trendsource/The Source
Trendsource/The Source is more of a site for side jobs — mainly just store reviews — and you get paid usually starting at $12. You get to choose what stores you want to review and how far you are willing to travel for your projects. It's almost like mystery shopping. The pay rate ranges from $12-$24/hr. You are paid after your review is correctly submitted. How many times you get paid a month depends on how quickly you complete a task.
3. Shadowshopper
Shadowshopper is a site that is for mystery/secret shopping. I love this site because it certifies you to be a mystery shopper for free while other sites charge you $20 and up. Some of the opportunities will require you to first make an account with this site called Closer Look. You do need to know how to write a review using pretty good grammar, so they have you submit a two paragraph review of a store you went to recently before you are approved. With Shadowshopper, sometimes they want you to go and review a restaurant and they refund you what you paid for, and pay you on top of the refund.
4. Jyve
Jyve is another one that is more like a side job. Jyve pays around $14/hour and all you do is you pick the days and time you are free, which is whenever you feel like it, and you just stock shelves. You have to send in a video interview that answers their questions and when you are approved they send you a shirt that says Jyve.
5. Smart Panel
Smart Panel is a passive app you download and it runs in the background. With this app, you just connect to your devices and you get a $5 signup bonus, then every month you are paid $5 afterwards. After 3 months you get a bonus $5, and then after 6 months you get a $10 loyalty bonus on top of your $5. After 9 months you get $15 on top of your $5, and then at every quarter of a year a $15 bonus on top of your $5. It's not much but it extra money you have that you can spend.
6. Jobble
Jobble is a site that helps you get flexible side gigs. You pick what gig you're interested in, and then when you are approved, on your free time you can do your gigs. Jobble pays with direct deposit within 5-7 business days, and they can pay you directly into your bank account or onto a prepaid debit card of your choice. I love this site because it works around your schedule and you don't have to bend your schedule at all to fit around it.
7. Relode
Relode is a site where you make money based on your clientele. All you do is refer people to medical insurances that fit their needs; the faster your clientele builds up, the more you get paid. You can earn up to around $3,500 a month when you get situated and used to the site and how it works. Some people decide to quit their full-time 9-5 jobs to do this once they get used to it. They have really good reviews, too, from people who work with this site.
8. Playtest Cloud
Playtest Cloud is an app you will download that requires you to test games for money. They also send you surveys that they pay you for in between game testings. You usually are paid same day that you complete the survey or the game test and you aren't allowed to discuss the games you test with others. You also have to be pretty quick because surveys and games fill up fast. I really do love this app.
9. Panel App
Panel App takes a little longer to get enough to cash out. What panel app does is it tracks your locations and then asks if this is where you were and if you bought anything while you were there. This app is based on a point system. When you get enough points you can cash out with Paypal or Amazon gift cards and you can enter into a monthly sweepstake for free each month.
10. Crowptap
Crowdtap is another on of my favorite sites to use, and they will be making a mobile app soon because it was highly requested. Crowdtap is based on a point system and you cash out for $5 Amazon gift cards. You can also get free full-sized samples if you just sign up for them. You just take short surveys, polls, questionnaires, and answer media questions. You can earn up to two $5 Amazon gift cards a day in no time.
11. Receipt Hog
Receipt Hog is an app where you earn points from taking pictures of your receipts and uploading them to the app. You can cash out with Paypal or Amazon gift cards. This is another one of those apps where it takes a while to build up enough points to cash out, but it's worth it.
12. Nicequest
Nicequest is an app where you are paid in what they call shells. you aren't paid in real money, buy you redeem your shells for real prizes, which is really cool, and they ship really fast, too. You just take short surveys and then you get your shells, and it doesn't take that long to get enough to get a prize of your choice.
13. Appjest
Appjest is an app that also pays you to play games but they pay you a lot less than Playtest Cloud. They pay you cents for you to play games of their choice, and the longer you play the more you get paid. The way this works is you play for however long, then you send in a screenshot of the battery life the game used; you are paid and you can cash out at anytime. This app also uses Paypal to send you the money, and it's sent same day that you cash out.
14. Dabble
Dabble is an app where you take 5 question surveys for a few cents and you can cash out once you hit $5. Dabble is one of those apps where it takes awhile to build up enough to cash out, but it's still worth it because the surveys aren't super long, so the pay rate seems right.
15. Atlis
Atlis is an app where you make money based on recommending places to eat for people, and the more thumbs up or credit you get for your recommendation, then the more you get paid. It takes a while to get enough unless you're always on there or if you know a lot of food places.
17. 10Cogs
10Cogs is a site where you have to complete tasks to earn money. If you actually complete the tasks then you can actually make a pretty good amount of money. The payout per cog is usually around $20.
18. Adswapper
Adswapper is an app you download and it runs in the background. Pretty much you make a profile and you get paid for whatever ads you see and you choose what ads you want to have pop up. Also its a point based app so when you get a certain amount of points then you can cash out your first $5.
19. Vocal
Vocal: that's what I'm writing this article on. It's probably the slowest way to make money out of all of these unless you love writing articles and are good at it. I love writing articles because I love for people to know things. Pretty much, the more reads you get, the the more you get paid, so you just have to be engaging.
I hope you enjoyed this article!
