Shopping for someone who is vague about their interests can be frustrating. You want to get them something that is to their liking, useful, and presentable. If you're interested in finding easy gifts for someone in your life, keep reading.

1. Candy.

It may seem like an obvious gift, but getting someone their favorite candy can be the perfect present. For one, it is useable, and the packaging on the candy is colorful and exciting. If you're going this route, I would suggest going for a variety. Don't discount places like the Dollar Tree. You can find a plethora of loved candy for an affordable price.

2. Headphones.

The market for headphones has drastically changed in the past few years. Giving someone a spare set of headphones can come in handy in an emergency. There are several wired and wireless headphones out there with beautiful aesthetics. Keeping these headphones and an adapter in a bag can be a lifesaver.

3. Extra chargers.

I've seen chargers and headphones come in the same packaging with matching colors. Even if they don't complement any other accessories, having extra chargers is never a bad thing. Gifting a charger for the student or office worker in your life means that it will be used. When in doubt, longer cords are a good bet. Not to mention, USB outlets can pair perfectly with this gift.

4. Water bottles.

The trend of customizing Hydro Flasks is what brought this idea to my mind. In actuality, everyone drinks water, so it makes sense to gift someone a quality bottle. Like headphones, water bottles can come in a variety of colors and patterns. One of these is bound to be the person's style. If not, try your hand at painting a water bottle for the recipient. Do note that if you do paint a bottle, it likely cannot go in the dishwasher.

5. Sunglasses.

A good pair of sunglasses can come in handy for driving, pictures, and sunny days. Giving an extra is a good backup if something were to go wrong. Rosey, almost peach-colored sunglasses are trendy right now and can match most outfits. The framing of these glasses and the shape of the lens can be a great factor in determining which pair to get.

6. Hand-written cards

Probably the most sentimental on the list, hand-written cards. Spending the time to fully articulate your appreciation for your person can be the best gift given. This gives you the creative space to draw, add stickers, place stamps, or any other customizations that come from you personally. One benefit to this gift is that it is easy to store. Paper doesn't take up a lot of space and can fit almost anywhere. On the fridge, in a glove box, or in a planner. The bottom line is that this letter can be used and reread.

7. Bath bombs.

Who doesn't love fizzy bath products? Bath bombs have become a staple in self-care routines since their spike of popularity online. Meaning that there are a wide array of sizes, scents, and colors to chose from. There are also bundles of bath bomb products out there, meaning that you can get a variety.

8. Products in their routine

This one can be a little straightforward, but if you want to get them something they will use, try to find out what products they use in their daily lives. For example, if the person wears makeup, try to find out which foundation they use and give them that. The same goes for perfume, cologne, snacks, and disposable care items. If you think about it, it's not that different from giving them a gift card to their favorite place. It saves them time from replenishing said product and gives them space to focus on other things.

9. Sodas/energy drinks

Sodas and energy drinks are also trendy as of now. Bang! Energy and Redbull are regular props on TikTok. If you know someone's favorite soda, a pack of those never hurts. It isn't just limited to soda. Coffee and tea are great gifts.

Giving someone a gift can be tricky. It can be a lot of pressure to get something that is just right. Hopefully, these tips help you in your gift-giving process. Best of luck!

Great list, and ever so appropriate once again. Otherwise gift cards at their favourite shop/retailer also work. Great story, thank you so much.

Definitely going to be adding some of these to my holiday shopping this year.
