Happy first day of March everyone. This is my favorite time of the year. It's time to start watching everything come back to life. It's time to start thinking about planting flowers and building gardens. It's also time to prepare for the Easter Bunny to arrive on Sunday, April 4th.

We've searched the world over for some of the very best Easter projects and tested each one in our homes. We all want something Easy, Cheap & Fun that both children and adults can enjoy. We've composed a list of our most favorite ideas.

This is how memories and made and traditions begin.

Melted Crayon Easter Eggs

What you’ll need:

-Eggs & Carton

-Crayons

-Tongs or something to move the hot eggs back to the carton

After your eggs are boiled, immediately lay them on a towel to dry, but it's important not to let them cool off. You need the eggs to be hot while decorating.

Grab your box of crayons and start drawing on the hot eggs. The crayons will begin to melt against the egg allowing for some awesome art work.

Another method is to use a lighter to melt the crayons, allowing them to drip onto the eggs. This makes some awesome 3-D art. This can also be accomplished by using candles.

Googly Eyed Pom Pom Sheep

What You'll Need

- Cotton balls

- Dried black beans

- Glue

- Google eyes

Glue four black beans on one side of a cotton ball. These will be the sheep's legs.

Turn your sheep on it's feet and glue two more beans on top to make the sheep's ears. Glue on two google eyes and you're done!

You can make it even fancier by decorating your sheep with ribbons, glitter, and so on.

Secret Message Eggs

Put a note inside an Easter egg, where you can write whatever you want. Then hand them out to the most special people in your life.

Use a needle or toothpick to make a small hole on top and bottom of the egg. Be super careful not to crack the egg.

Carefully rinse the egg under warm water until it's all cleaned out. This can be a little tricky, shaking the egg helps.

Once the egg is all cleaned out, drip rubbing alcohol inside and shake it around, this kills the bacteria and keeps the egg from smelling.

Allow the egg to dry inside and out. It's best to allow it to sit over night to make sure all of the moisture has evaporated.

Once the egg is dry, use paint, markers, glitter or anything else that you want to decorate the outside of the egg with.

Once you have decorated it, write your message on a small paper, roll it tightly and insert it into the hole that you made on the egg.

EASTER EGG BOMBS

Using the same method as above, carefully put a hole on the top of the egg. (only the top) once it's cleaned out, disinfected and dried. Fill the egg with glitter. Place tape over the hole and decorate.

EASTER MASON JAR GIFT

This one is self explanatory and makes a beautiful, yummy gift that anyone would be happy to receive. Along with the photo above, we have tried using Easter grass and peeps which made a very pretty display.

EGGSHELL TEA LIGHT CANDLES

Make some Easter magic with these lovely eggshell candles.

What You Need:

- Large raw eggs

- Bowl

- Pin, needle or some other sharp metal point or an egg topper

- Paint, egg dye or food coloring

- Tea light candles (Dollar Store ones work great)

- Egg cups or egg carton

- Toilet paper tubes cut up into 5 or 6 rings

- Sticks or skewers and a can or jar

The first thing to do is empty the contents of the eggs and you will probably want to empty them into a bowl so you can eat them later!

With the needle, pen or the sharp pointed object (I used the tip of a knife on the first couple of eggs) hold each egg with the more pointed and narrow side up. Carefully yet firmly push the pin or pointed object into the very top of the egg's shell. It should just poke right through. This part scared me some but I learned you can't let the egg intimidate you. It is easier than you may think. So don't be afraid, just hold the egg stable and firmly push through!

Once there is a hole, very carefully start chipping away at the small hole. The goal is to make the opening big enough to pour the egg out and also open enough to put the candle inside.

Once the opening is big enough, pour the contents in a bowl and rinse the inside with very hot water and then sit the egg inside the toilet paper rings to dry.

The next step is adding color to the eggshells. You can do this any way you choose. You could even embellish the eggshells if you want.

Once the eggs are dry you can put your candles inside of them. If the candle is too big, simply chip away at it until it fits.

Jelly Bean Tree

Stick Jelly Beans to the tree branches filled in a vase to create a beautiful centerpiece that would much match your dinner setting.

After stabilizing your branches into a vase or pot of your choice all you have do is get out your glue gun and start gluing those little guys on. Try to refrain from eating them up as you go!

BUNNY SHAPED CINNAMON ROLLS

This is the easiest and tastiest of all. Simply shape the dough into bunnies (as pictured) use raisins, nuts etc. to make faces.
