What are the best greetings before start any presentation?

Starting a presentation is the hardest thing to do in class. Some of the students find it very difficult to start a presentation, most of the students start their presentation with the greetings. A presentation needs to be attractive enough from the very beginning that it captures the audience's mind.

Some of the students follow a very clichë way of starting a presentation by saying "Ladies and gentlemen, good morning and i hope you have a nice day" and then they start their discussing the topic of the presentation. If you watch some of the TED talks on YouTube, there is a continuous pattern of how the speakers in the show start their presentation.

One example of how to start and greet your classmates and teacher before starting a presentation:

“Sitting in a park or in a restaurant or even in a bus, just turn your head and you will find almost everyone looking down at their mobile phones. These flashing gadgets are all that humans seem to have these days. Little do we know that this is not being tech-savvy, but being addicted.

Ladies and gentlemen, a very good morning! Let me introduce you to something which you experience every day, yet don’t recognize its presence. Let me help you know mobile-addiction better.” Source.

Here are some interesting Best Greetings Before Start any Presentation?

1. Asking a Question:

My favorite one. Just go to your classroom and ask an interesting question. By asking a question you can get the attention of the whole class as we, humans, often react to questions more promptly. This is like a competition and humans are best when it comes to competition. You can start your presentation like; before I start the presentation I want to ask a question, and the question is can everybody in class show me their water bottles?

2. Quote:

This is another great way of starting and greeting your classmates and teachers before starting your presentation. It is very simple. Just remember a quote that you find very interesting and quote it in your class. The Quote should be applied to everyone and not related to a specific class or mindset.

3. Story:

This one is my favorite one too. Just tell you're a good time story with your classmates and teachers. The best practice is to tell a story before a presentation that has every component of a good story. It should be informative, having a plot, and funny. Any story that has all these three components could laugh your crush in your class or sometimes she may even clap for you like mine one did once and I was so happy.

4. Be funny:

This one helps a lot. You can do something crazy at the beginning of your presentation that will make everyone adrenaline flow in their bodies. Act like crazy for some time and don't forget that you have to build an impression of an intelligent man/woman as the presentation starts, so it is ok to be a little crazier for a time being.

Also, you could tell a joke that everyone falls on the floor and they thank you for making their day better.

5. Pictorial presentation:

On your very first slide of the presentation, add a funny or something very different and explain it and let your classmates get your attention. Attention is the new currency in this digital age and you could get that if you deserve it.
