Holes in the Heart (Deep article)

It takes a good state of mind to make up for the soul, a searching mind. To think more and be less impulsive, to be more calm and less impetuous, to be more tolerant and less jealous, to be more kind and less hateful... In this way, life will become more beautiful.

Beautiful picture heart language

Many years ago, there was a young man seeking enlightenment. In order to learn the truth of life, he labored for years and traveled far and wide to visit the people of the world and seek answers.

As time went by, he asked many people for advice, but he felt that he had learned nothing. He was very disappointed. He thought about it and couldn't figure out what the cause was.

Later, he heard from an old-school teacher that in the Nanshan mountains, not far from his hometown, there was a monk who was able to solve all kinds of difficult problems about life. So he set out through the night to inquire where the monk lived.

One day, when he came to the foot of the South Mountain, he saw a woodcutter coming down from the mountain with a load of wood. He approached him and asked, "Brother woodcutter, do you know where a noble monk lived on the South Mountain? What kind of face?"

The woodcutter mused for a moment and said, "There is indeed a noble monk on the mountain, but I do not know where he lives, for he often travels from place to place, and makes people live by his chance. As for his appearance, some people said that he was luminous and handsome. Others said he was unkempt and unkempt. No one can say." Thanks to the woodcutter, the young man made up his mind and marched on into the mountains regardless of everything.

Then he met the farmer, the hunter, the shepherd boy, the herb gatherer, and so on, but he never found the monk who he thought could guide the course of life.

In despair, he turned back down the mountain. On the road, he met a beggar who was carrying a broken bowl and asked him for water. The young man took the water bag from his body and poured some water into the bowl. The water ran out before the beggar could drink it. Helpless, the young man poured some more water into the bowl, and urged the beggar to drink. But as soon as the bowl was brought to the beggar's mouth, the water ran away again.

"How can you hold water in a broken bowl? How can I quench my thirst with it?" "Said the young man impatiently.

"Poor fellow, you go around asking for advice about life, and you appear modest. But you judge in your mind whether the other person is saying what you want, and you can't accept what you don't want, and these stereotypes create such a big hole in your heart that you can never get an answer."

Upon hearing this, the young man suddenly saw the light and bowed to him, "Is the master the monk I am looking for?" Even asked a few sound no answer, look up again to find the beggar, there is no trace.

Is there a hole in your heart? Of course. Prejudice is the heart of the hole, jealousy is also, suspicion, cowardice, impetuous, hatred and so on all are the heart of the hole, but each person's heart hole is different. If these vulnerabilities are all in one, I'm afraid the person is hopeless.

The heart has a hole is not terrible, terrible is knowing that there is a leak and not to make up, that will only leak more and more, harm life. And there are loopholes willing to make up for is valuable. Days have loopholes can be made up, the heart and what can't be made up?
