Have you ever heard of the #bookstagram community? It takes on different forms depending on what social media platform you’re using. Be it #booktok, #bookstagram, or beyond, it is the not-so-secret hangout of bibliophiles everywhere. It is also where I’ve met some of the coolest people alive, and I consider myself lucky to have been accepted into their circle. We are the #authorsofinstagram.

Angela RosePublished 2 months ago in InterviewWilliam Shaw On A Life In Crime
When I talk to crime novelist William Shaw, he is alone in his writing shack in Devon, on the English coast. It's an off-grid, wooden building close to the sea but even closer to railway tracks, which is why he bought it so cheaply 30 years ago. "It was going for virtually nothing, because Network Rail have the rights to demolish it with no notice," he explains. "That put people off!"

Hearing the sad news of Betty White's passing led to a "No," escaping my lips. It had to be a hoax. To all our dismay, it was not. My heart was saddened. I admired her work and remembered my mother, who has long since passed as well-loved her. Through my mother, I was introduced to the fantastic work of Betty White. Maybe that is why her passing touched my heart so much. I have fond memories of watching her with my mom on games shows like 1,000 Dollar Pyramid, Bob Hope Specials, reruns of the Carol Burnett Show where she guest-starred on the skit titled "The Family," playing Mama's (Viki Lawrence) uppity daughter Ellen Harper which then spun off onto its show the ever-popular "Mama's Family" in which she made a guest appearance on too.

Social media is great, isn't it? Especially for Vocal creators. Facebook has many groups dedicated to Vocal creators. In the group Vocal Writers Sharing Community, there are many games and contests that help feature creators and increase reads for those who participate. (If you haven't already joined this group, you can find it here). One of the challenges posed in this particular group is called "Not My Shoes Interviews". We were randomly assigned partners to interview. One problem-I have never done an interview. So I approached it a little differently. My interview partner and I didn't have a laundry list of questions for each other; we just had conversations. That is how I get to know people. And I love getting to know people.

Interview With a Lifetime Star: Noah Fearnley
Trevor Wells: Hello Noah! So glad you could take the time to speak with me. I enjoyed The Wrong Cheer Captain and was hoping to pick your brain a little. Let's go back to the beginning: from my research, I see that prior to your move into the entertainment industry, you were into athletics. What was that like and what inspired you to go into acting/modeling?

I had the absolute pleasure interviewing bestselling author Sarah A. Denzil - who has made a name for herself in the British thriller genre with compelling reads such as the Isabel Fielding trilogy, You Are Invited, Only Daughter, Little One, The Silent Child duology and Saving April (with the audiobooks for the latter two narrated by Downton Abby's Joanne Froggatt and Sophie McShera), all her books starring complex female leads in dark and twisted storylines.
Interview With a Lifetime Star: Adrian Eppley
{WARNING: Interview contains Just What the Doctor Ordered spoilers} Trevor Wells: Hello, Adrian! Thank you for taking time out of your crazy schedule to talk to me, it's much appreciated. So before we go into your latest Lifetime movie, let's start at the beginning: what first sparked your interest in entering the entertainment industry? I see in addition to acting, you're also a model.
