Police authorities reported that three women were taken at gunpoint. They were kidnapped and held for hours until the unthinkable happened. This is that story.

While vacationing on an island along the Gulf Coast, three victims were taken and moved to a location police hunted for hours to find. During the search, the three were recovered blocks from where they were held against their will.

Police detectives interviewed the three women, all in their late 30s. They all told a similar tale. When the investigators asked how they got away, the would-be crooks ultimately let them go.

Investigator Jones: How did you get away?

Victim #1: They let us go.

Investigator Jones: Why would they let you go?

Victim #2: Laughs

Investigator Jones: What’s so funny?

Victim #3: It was their best option.

Investigator Jones: Why’s that?

Victim #2: My father was on his way.

Victim #1: So was mine.

Victim #3: Mine too, and he just got released from a Russian prison.

Investigator Jones: Prison? Your father’s been in prison?

Victim #3: “laughs” More than once.

A knock at the door and Investigator Jones had to step out.

“What is it,” Jones asked a patrol officer.

The officer explained to the investigator that the patrol division found where the women were being held. When they got there, SWAT raided the building and found the men inside, all dead.

“Who in the hell are these women?”

“Here’s their background info,” answered the officer.

Jones walked back into the interview room. He looked through the file the officer gave him, his face lighting up with a smile. Looking at victim #3, he laughed to himself.

“So, you’re Kim?”

“That’s me,” she smiled, seeing him reading from the file.

“And that makes you Lucy, and you’re also a Kim? Well, that’s funny when you think about it,” commented Jones.

“So, are we free to go?” asked Lucy.

“Right, I mean,” asked the blonde Kim. “I’m guessing we’re totally safe.”

“What makes you say that?”

The three looked at each other and smiled. They all knew the likelihood of there still being a problem was slim, and that was if only one of their fathers got there. If they all got there at the same time, there was no chance the kidnappers were still a threat.

“Oh, I’m just guessing you won’t need me to come testify.”

Jones nodded his head, telling them he only had one more question. He still needed to track down their fathers, and at least get their statements.

“So, where’s daddy at now?” he asked, looking at each of them.

When they all looked at him, shrugging their shoulders, he opened the door and told them they could leave. The girls got excited and were ready to return to their beach vacation. They promised to let their dads know the cops were looking for them.

“Don’t bother…” said Jones. “I don’t imagine we’ll find any ties to them at the crime scene.”

As the girls walked out, one of the other investigators from the local department walked into the room. He closed the door and asked what to do next.

“Do we put out an APB for Bauer, Mills, and McClaine?”

Jones laughed, “Nah, we bother them? It’s not their fault some dumbasses nabbed the wrong three marks.”

Jones sat down to type up his report. It was short, sweet, and to the point.

With assistance from former intelligence operative, Jack Bauer, former CIA officer Brian Mills, and former Police Detective John McClain, the three suspects were found deceased in an abandoned warehouse and the victims were recovered without injury.
