Angel ran into her room holding the clothes with joy in her heart. This might be her new home. Lolo is planning on sending her to school while Chief has started buying her clothes already. She was so happy for the first time in a long time.

She slipped and fell down. It was as if she stepped on a banana peel. She looked but couldn't see anything. She bruised her kneel. Angel was still trying to massage her wound when Jasmine walked in on her.

Did you fall down? I am sorry Angel for your wound. Hope it's not too painful she said and tried touching the wound. It is a bit Angel said trying to get up from the floor to seat on the bed.

Jasmine helped her pick up the clothes which fell from the plastic bag that got torn when Angel fell. Wow see this one Angel... It is looking small, it will be my size.

Okay okay go ahead , change into it let's see how it fits Angel said while still trying to nurse her wound. Jasmine unpacked the dress and tried it on.

Chief Obilor kept crying and Lolo who has become more confused started crying too and kept asking Chief Obilor to tell her what was really going on.

Chief Obilor sighted Angel a distance away and pointed at her...

He ran towards Angel , Angel who was leaping before started running and ran out of the house.

She went for the gate..

Chief Obilor ordered his guards to get hold of Angel but before they could understand what he was saying, she has already opened the gate and ran out of the house..

Angel ran and went into hiding, Chief Obilor's guards searched and searched but they couldn't find her. It was as if she disappeared.

When they went back to the house, Angel came out and ran out of the vicinity.

She reached a point and stopped running. It was already late at night. She never knew where she was going. She thought she has found refuge, only for her to start again just like the other night Chief Obilor saved her from those rapist.

Angel could feel tears cloud in her eyes. Not long before they began flowing again. Seems like her life has become a very sad one.

She is out again at night with no where to go to.

Why me?

Why am I meant to keep suffering?

God why did you take my mummy from me and left me alone in this wicked world?

Why didn't I just die with my mummy Angel asked as she tried wiping her tears which were uncontrollable.

I'm tired of this life!!

Everyone wants to kill me or sleep with me. Angel was deeply buried in the grave of her thoughts and words she muttered . She never knew she was on the main road. Someone was horning at her but she didn't hear.

The car almost knocked her down but it stopped .Then someone alighted from the car, Angel kept trying to see who it was. She used her hand to shade the light from the car's headlamp.
