When a woman has low self-esteem, she will stay in an unhealthy relationship because she thinks she deserves it. No woman deserves to be slapped, punched, or cheated on, but when you have low self-esteem, you tell yourself that these are things you deserve, because you're not worthy of anything better.

In a relationship, both partners should respect each other. It is a clear sign of disrespect when one partner constantly speaks down to the other, or embarrasses them in public.

If your partner gets angry easily, it is not a good sign for the relationship. You should be able to talk about any matter without fear of anger or abuse.

It is very important that you let your partner know how you feel about something instead of just expecting them to know how you feel. They are humans too and cannot read your mind.

If your partner has very low self-esteem, they can become insecure in the relationship and might expect you to make all the decisions. This will make the relationship feel unbalanced and one-sided, which can cause problems in the long run.

The two main factors of low self-esteem are one, not liking your own self and second, having a negative perception of yourself. These factors lead to a sense of worthlessness and inadequacy.

It is often seen that women with low self-esteem are unable to accept themselves. A woman with low self-esteem may find it very difficult to love herself. She will feel anxious when she is around people in social gatherings. She may also feel that she is being judged by others.

Women with low self-esteem suffer from insecurities and look down upon themselves. They always feel that they do not deserve the best in life and therefore, tend to settle for anything that comes their way. There are times when such women feel jealous of others who have more than them, but will never be able to express their feelings openly before others. This is because they think that if they tell others about how they feel, people will laugh at them or mock them for feeling so down about themselves.

Women with low self-esteem often suffer from relationship problems as well. Their lack of confidence often leads them to believe that their partner does not really love them for who they really are, but loves only the face value.

I am sorry to hear about your situation. I think it's very unfair the way your boyfriend is treating you with so much disrespect. From what you're saying, it sounds like he has low self-esteem himself and takes his anger out on you. And maybe that's why you haven't outgrown him yet. However, it's never ok for a partner to make you feel worthless or hit you. This is an abusive relationship and it's important to get help right away. Your friends are right when they say that this is not normal and that he is using you as an emotional punching bag.

You are not alone in what you're feeling. There are many teen girls who have been abused by their boyfriends. They may have been scared or ashamed to talk to their parents, but they still need help. Please don't make the same mistake as them and get help now before things spin out of control.

You are worth it! Anyone that makes you feel lower than you actually are isn't worth your time. They don't deserve a place in your life. The best you can do for yourself is to distant yourself and move on.

Eventually, you'll be glad you did.

You need to Love yourself first. You really can't give what you don't have.
