Being empathetic is not as easy as most people think. Of course, in some ways, this is a pretty useful and even magical gift, because you have a stronger sense than anyone else. In other words, you know how to "see" with your heart. But empathy can be a curse.

If you were born an empath, then your life will be different from others. There will be ups and downs. But this does not mean at all that is such a person is very bad. Even if you have an incredible gift that others can only dream of, they will never feel the amalgam of feelings that move with the speed of light through your heart.

It's hard. And it hurts quite often. After all, when you are an empath, then the feelings of others go through you, and if they are toxic and negative people, then they start to poison your life.

So, if you are empathetic, then you need to take certain steps to avoid suffering. Namely, to learn how to protect your energy, and this is very difficult.

Because often you have to choose what decision to make, who you accept in your circle, and who is not allowed to approach. And this task is never simple: after all, many will put on fake masks, posing as cute lambs that only want good for you.

A crucial point: if you surround yourself with toxic people, then you risk being used, all the energy will be drained and, as if nothing had happened, they will move on.

6 things that empaths do differently:

1. They are quite dedicated, but they know their limits

Empaths always remember that they have limits, so they do not try to go beyond the possibilities, but act to the maximum of their abilities and capacities. Such people are quite dedicated and will do their best for other people. But in the end, they are not wizards.

2. Empaths work hard to manage their emotions and reactions

Being an empath is a very hard job, even if you don't notice it. They try their best to cope with increased sensitivity and rely on the energy they encounter. They are forced to do this to stay safe from overwhelming emotions.

3. They understand the lives of others very deeply and always take this into account

Empaths do their best to understand the people around them and are always in touch with them. They don't have to explain or prove anything: empaths analyze reasons, a situation, everything visible and invisible before breaking a connection with someone or taking other steps. There are always thousands of combinations and options in their heads.

4. They work on their own and inspire others to do more

Empaths are some of the most inspiring people you've ever met. They have an incredible gift to ignite and motivate everyone they meet in their path. Although it is invisible to others, it is often they who help others to grow and become a better version of themselves.

5. They live in the present

Empaths are not people who live with memories of the past or dream of the future. They are looking to be here and now. Only then do they feel calm and at ease. This is because they are simply pierced by various energies, and this happens almost continuously. Therefore, they must be fully present at present to filter this strong and continuous energy flow.

6. Empaths have a strong intuition

Empaths never ignore the signals that intuition sends. Therefore, intuition for them is a guiding star. I just can't trust her - her inner voice is so loud. They trust her and do it right - this helps them avoid disappointments and the negative effects of toxic and bad people.
