Twin Flames

You've probably heard the story of twin flames. Its the biggest rage right now. Unfortunately, with any new fad, comes misunderstanding. One of the most challenging things about a twin flame relationship is that there is absolutely no way to confirm it, other than the feelings in your own heart.

I met my twin about 5 years ago. Although, I didn't know he was my twin until about 2 months ago. We have been separated for over a year now and its been the most painful experience of my life. According to the origin story, twin flames were created as one soul but are separated through the process of creation. They spend many lifetimes apart and many lifetimes together. They teach one another valuable lessons that must be completed before these two souls can ever reunite in harmonious union. They often mirror each other and are the perfect example of yin and yang. Where one twin is usually positive, the other pessimistic. When one twin is outgoing and fun, the other may be timid and reserved. The old phrase "Opposites attract," is the perfect expression of this ancient union.

Now, more than ever, the collective needs to come together to rise above the darkness so we may return to the Source, from whence we came.
