Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers
This book was written by the same author who wrote Behave and A Primate's Memoir. Robert Sapolsky has a unique way of turning scientific jargon, into a masterful education tool that breaks down even the most complex bodily functions into understandable material.

Enjoy The Little Things
I live in Northern New Mexico, the Land of Enchantment, or the land of entrapment to the residents that live here. Our landscape has a very unique, southwestern feel to it that you can't find anywhere else in the world which is what drives the tourist attraction. It's also a very affordable place to live which is why its residents never leave. Even when you do leave, there is an invisible force that pulls you back every few years. Some may escape its grasp, but most end up settling down in the same place they were raised. I have been one of these people so far. I have moved away from NM three times and somehow always find myself back in my hometown. Is it because it's safe? The short answer is yes. I live in a small, isolated town where very little happens. However, on the plus side, it also means I am more protected from world influences, like the coronavirus for example. Our town has had a total of 6 confirmed cases and no deaths. While we must adhere to our governor's orders of social distancing and mandatory face masks, most of our lives remain unchanged. We continue to work from home and go outdoors to enjoy our favorite activities. I feel very blessed to live here, especially when so many lives have been turned upside down. I send my sincere condolences to the individuals that have been deeply impacted by the virus.

How I've Survived COVID-19
The coronavirus has challenged most, devastated some, and been a nuisance to others. No matter how the virus has impacted your life, it has no doubt, raised some concern in your mind. I live in New Mexico and as of today, we have 5,938 confirmed cases with 265 deaths. Also, I am essential health care worker and have been on the front lines since the beginning. Our governor has been extremely proactive and my office is only seeing patient's long distance at this time. Despite working in healthcare, not wearing a mask (until it became mandatory), and washing my hands no more than I usually do, I have not been infected. In fact, I have not been sick at all. What's my secret you ask? Preventative medicine. Today I will provide you with advice, tips, and resources to boost your immune system so that you can decrease your chances of infection. Keep in mind that this method does require a substantial amount of effort on your part, so it is important to ask yourself "how important is your health and what is it worth to you?"

Shadow Work
Today I want to discuss shadow work. You may be wondering to yourself, what is shadow work? Well, allow me to explain. Shadows are usually subconscious and are often related to core beliefs. Core beliefs are negative thoughts we have about ourselves. They are often established in early childhood from the influence of our parents or other significant people in our lives. The most common ones are "I'm not good enough," "I am not worthy," or "I do not deserve..." These beliefs tend to control our lives without us knowing until one day, we become self-aware.

Loving Yourself
For my birthday this year, I decided to dedicate an entire year to just loving myself. I am studying to be a doctor and I've always spent more time caring for other people than myself. It wasn't until my recent mental breakdown that I realized how important taking care of myself was. For years people have been telling me that you can't love anyone until you love yourself. But what did that mean exactly? I had no idea until I started my own journey. Now I understand, you can never truly experience happiness until you love yourself and you cannot accept another person's flaws until you accept your own.

Either way, I hope the following information provides some guidance and understanding to what you are going through.

Twin Flames
You've probably heard the story of twin flames. Its the biggest rage right now. Unfortunately, with any new fad, comes misunderstanding. One of the most challenging things about a twin flame relationship is that there is absolutely no way to confirm it, other than the feelings in your own heart.
