The world you see is only a projection of your heart

Someone said, "The world is in front of you if you don't read, but the world is in front of you if you read. The more I think about this sentence, the more I feel that there are too many things that can be realized. Today, we will take a point to simply expand and talk about this topic!

Remember the writer classical once in the "tear down the walls in the thinking" talk about: "you see the world's perspective, determine your look". In our daily lives, there are always many people who start to dictate before they can see the truth. This subconscious behavior is called "psychological projection" in psychology.

Speaking of psychological projection, let's first explain what is "psychological projection".

In psychology, it means that individual projects his or her subjective feelings, will, and characteristics onto others and imposes them on them without the knowledge of others. In layman's terms, it is a kind of cognitive bias that extrapolates from oneself to others.

It can be divided into three types of further subdivided.

The first type is the same projection: judging external objects according to one's feelings (sensations). As we often say, there is a kind of cold called your mother thinks you are cold!

The second type of emotional projection: according to their emotional tendencies, to judge the behavior of another person. The most common thing we all see is a lover's eye. Look at the person who likes, all the advantages of the body. Look at the person you don't like, there are flaws. The result is that it is easy to fall into the subjective bias, and lack of objective cognition.

The third kind of wish projection: is the imposition of their subjective wishes into the "external". The most common one is to find money today and think that you are about to get lucky. I think I have to hurry to buy a lottery ticket, picking up money is a sign of luck.

I have realized what psychological projections are and how to distinguish between them, so let's talk more about why we have "projection psychology".

Psychologists believe that the relationship we have with our parents when we are young affects the quality of our relationships with others when we grow up. If a child is subjected to a lot of blame and criticism at home, it will continue to strengthen her internal defense system, which will lead to a stronger "subjective perception" of other relationships when the child becomes an adult. In other words, there will be more projection.

Conversely, if you live in a friendly and accepting family, the child will grow up with more acceptance of other relationships. In their perception of things, they are not only very subjective but also accept "objective opinions". In other words, there will be less projection.

The old saying goes, "You can tell by looking at a child what kind of person his parents are. Translated from a psychological perspective, this saying means that everyone sees the world according to their own experiences. So psychological projection is a very normal phenomenon in our daily life, as long as we can recognize it correctly, listen more, and evaluate less in our life. Be more accepting and less judgmental. This phenomenon of projection will slowly diminish, and see the problem will be more rational and objective.

The world we see is a projection of our inner being. The kind of person we choose to be and the kind of life we lead are determined by ourselves and the environment we live in.
