The weight of Stillness
A hymn for the touch that breaks the hollow.
I feel sad that I am alone now,
grieved that I cannot hold someone every day.
I feel empty with no one to cuddle in bed
There is no one to share the table with.
All I need is a tight embrace.
The pain is eating my life,
It numbs my brain.
Sometimes an intense longing takes over.
It begins with the urge to hold someone
To have a partner to calm my storms.
I want to fold into him and sleep.
The ache deepens into a physical hunger.
I long to cradle his face in my hands,
tracing his features with my thumb,
gazing into his eyes to find the depth of his love,
Basking in the warmth of our skin meeting.
I want to be held in his hands,
our chests pressed tight,
Hearts beating to a single rhythm.
His fingers tangled in my hair.
I want to feel loved and protected.
To feel the raw weight of the man he is,
drawing out the soft, hidden depths of my femininity.
May he hear my breath break into pleasure.
Let our limbs tangle,
tasting the heat of each other’s breath.
Let me hold him close,
as our lips finally meet.
A quiet, closed kiss
that slowly unravels.
Let us consume one another until the hunger vanishes.
I want to graze his teeth,
tangle with his tongue.
I want to tear into him, to hide within his skin.
Pulling his hair, pressing my nails into his back.
Hold my hand, tight and unyielding.
Undress me, cover me.
I am trembling, and only your weight can still me.
Press me into the mattress.
Trace my depths, making me ache with awareness,
making me suffer the sweet pain of pleasure.
Let my body surrender completely.
I want to feel that deep, tight ache in my core,
And then, lose yourself inside me.
Claim me completely
fierce, bruising, driving me to tears.
Squeeze my breasts, bite me hard,
leaving marks that will make me smile for days.
I want to feel your wildness.
I want us drenched in sweat.
I want to look into your eyes,
Watch your expression shift,
And burn in that fire.
And when the storm passes,
to collapse in your arms
Exhausted, pale, yet utterly at peace just looking at you.
