The Sun left a mark on my Heart

I thought Cupid retired!

Encapsulated is the true essence of beauty! There she stood, as graceful as a Nancy Wilson song and with poise like Diahann Carroll. Such a gem to behold as I look at her as if I am Indiana Jones trying to heist a precious artifact. For no one can tell me that wonders and miracles still exists. For if the Sun never shinned again, I am now satisfied and seeing another just won't do.

There's no other need for a new slow song, because she is the meaning of them all and there are no other words that can describe her better. I thought Cupid stopped playing with folk, but yet here he goes once again. Her beauty is better than a morning river slowly flowing next to any city in the brink of the morning, with the sun giving the first kiss.

Her vibe is probably the coolest and with the lowest drag of relaxation. She gives a silent approach that commands any man to move in the most respectful and cautious way. I'm okay with that, because anyone worth having; there is special attention required to submit to the commitment. The expectation and the work calls for something that will set me far from any man apart.

Still caught in the moment, I gave a deep inhale and I went in like a Kamikaze; because there was no coming back from this and I was hoping to make an impact worth remembering. Gave my name as I looked into her lovely eyes (almost frozen from her look) and made a gesture to ease the tone a bit. Although she seemed calm and collect, it was me reverting back to the high school shy boy days and almost fumbling the opportunity.

I told her that the sun couldn't pick a better time to shine and display natural light upon such a beautiful woman. Never one for "pickup" lines and there I was telling her the absolute truth. Waiting for the right moment, she interrupted with question. "What do you do for a living, Mr. Dobbins?" A quick announcement came from the stage and the mic was open for some soulful expression.

In a cool and relaxing way, "I said wait right her please! I will be right back!" With a smooth stroll to the sage and an approach to the mic (without signing up) I adjusted the mic to my lips and started to flow. I said, "Give me just a few seconds more to present something more than an elevator pitch. There I go walking in this lonely world, thinking cupid turned his timecard in and gave up on love. There I stood, thinking it was all over and this wonderful thing was missing that came from above. The radio just didn't play the way it use to play and I just wanted to go inside. Maybe it was me, because this empty heart missed out on the last love tide. My days seemed dark and my nights seemed long and my heart had the slightest clue. This was worse than a drought, and just about the common flu. Walks to the store just didn't have any meaning, nor did smiling as if a failed the greatest test. I was tired and needed this weathered heart to take a long rest. Then I saw you and wanted to dream that you were looking at me. The only way to change that was to come over and make my introduction a reality. I wanted to buy you a drink, but that was too common and that move wouldn't touch the soul. I was told to dig deep when looking for precious metals that are better than gold. For that moment I saw you, I knew that Cupid was back on the clock. My heart once again found interest and had a greater need to walk down your block."

After that, could really tell if the crowd was yelling or booing. However, the look on your face was all I needed to see. I got off stage and walked toward you and took you hand, and said "please come with me!" You said, "Where?" I said, "Dinner and romance and a life waiting to see!"
