The Senpai-Kouhai Relationship: Lvl: Romantic?!

This is a little article/blog for anyone who's elevated to from "notice me, senpai" to "noticed." First off, congratulations! I know it couldn't have been easy to get to that level. It's difficult to gain the affections of another being...fictional or real, it takes A LOT of patience and effort! With that said, let's get right down to business~

1: The Honeymoon Phase

You and your mate will first experience this phase. It's the special lovey-dovey montage that makes it seem as though you are young forever and love will never die. Enjoy this phase for as long as you can! Don't second guess it, don't doubt it! This phase will determine whether or not your relationship will have durable pillars of support in the future. This phase can eventually be transformed as an everyday, until-you-both-die thing.

2: Tell The Truth

It seems easier said than done, doesn't it? Especially when you've spent so long level-grinding your way up the ranks by sugarcoating certain things. All the same, you have to know when to be honest to your mate, otherwise trust will be hard to establish later on. I'm not saying to lack a filter and be rude, I'm just saying you should know when to issue out the truth when it's necessary. It keeps either of you guys from having a big head and believing that "so and so will never leave me because I'm all she/he has." Wake up you two. WAKE UP!

3: Work As a Team

Teamwork is becoming more important in both a work and romantic relationship. In order to get certain things accomplished, you and your mate will need to put aside your differences and meet each other half way. A project that requires both of you is a sure fire way to see if this relationship will grow or wither. Eeek, that sounds life-or-death-ish, I'm sorry...But seriously, why work alone when you can have someone who loves you help you out? Especially if you don't understand everything the task asks of you. Think of it this way...If it's a project that requires less clothing and a lot of touching, GO FOR IT! 😀

4: Remember Why This Relationship is Important

Sometimes we can forget the core reason we wanted to be with our mates in the first place. All the things that we once loved about them can fade or look disgusting to us as time ticks by. It's in our best interest to keep the good memories alive, but we must also make new ones as well. Arguments and negative things will occur from time to time, but it won't mean an end to the relationship! Stay strong and love each other!
