Introduction:

As an avid fan of romance novels and erotica, I always felt there was something lacking in their conventional format. Recently I have been experiencing one of the largest bouts of emotional loneliness in the last 15 years. I longed for a partner and daydreamed about him. This series, Tammy and Jack serves as an exploration of intimacy and outlines the types of scenarios I myself would fantasize about.

I hope you enjoy reading,

Hanna

Where are Tammy and Jack right now? Well presently it is a warm, glowy Sunday afternoon. Tammy and Jack slept in. But not too late. Just until about 9:30am. They didn’t make coffee right away. They showered together first with thick lathers and dressed in the bathroom.

This was around 10:30am. Jack went out for fresh pastries and Tammy stayed behind to make the coffee and put on her makeup in the kitchen. She had one sock on her foot. A fuzzy pink one.

Jack came back at 10:59am. Tammy had their coffees poured, hers in a red mug and his in a white. He set the white paper bag on the counter. It was warm and the paper crunched and crinkled as he delivered hot croissants and muffins to their plates. Steam escaped from the breaded treats as he pulled them apart with his fingers.

His hands were twice the size of Tammy’s.

“Where’s your other sock?” He asked, looking down at her mismatched feet.

Tammy shrugged and closed her eyes when the melted chocolate chip hit the back of her throat.

But this was all hours ago.

It’s the afternoon now. They’re sitting on their favorite spot on the couch.

Tammy’s legs are in Jack’s lap. They’re reading and the sun is hitting them in just the right spot. Other people would draw the shades, or move to another part of the house, but Tammy and Jack are both cats in human bodies.

Some moments before, Jack went upstairs to grab their books while Tammy poured them each their 4th cups of coffee. On his way down, Jack rolled Tammy’s pink sock into a ball and lobbed it downstairs.

It rolled onto the kitchen floor and Tammy got it before Sarah, the orange tabby could intercept it. Sarah was upset about this slight and ran upstairs to spread her long orange cat hairs all-over the bed, Tammy’s favorite black turtleneck and jegging combo, and Jack’s black dinner jacket which lay folded over his chair.

This was a small, but pleasant victory for Sarah. After her dirty work, she rewarded herself by climbing into the sink bowl ofthe master bathroom, and promptly fell asleep.

Jack is currently 147 pages in through his book. He has 286 pages left. Tammy is only 5 pages away from finishing hers. But the book is so good, criminally good. She reads extra slow to savor the last elements of the story. Sometimes she stares at the empty space between the type and contemplates deep memories in her past.

Jack notices this and wiggles the spine of her book every time with his big fingers. She wiggles the book from his grasp, grumbles and keeps reading. Soon the story is over, but Jack has a ways to go. And by the look of his smile, he’s at a really good point in the story. He won’t be looking up anytime soon.

Tammy yawns and folds the book shut. She pulls some pillows to prop up against her back and falls asleep.

The sun is getting warmer now, but she would rather sleep. Jack looks up from his pages after she’s dozed to watch her as her mouth opens and she emits quiet buzzing snores from her nostril. He decides to let her rest and continues reading.
