All you need is Love, and Love is all you need.
Centuries Worth
The smell of coffee is the only comfort I have encountered this morning. Taking my usual seat at the table in the back of the coffee shop, I pull out my laptop to send an email to the financial aid office. I cannot afford to take out any more loans and my parents will not cover my tuition unless I major in pre-med. Begging for any source of financial assistance is what I have to resort to.

What Mattered in the End
It was lunchtime when she snapped, slapping the notebook out of her therapist's outstretched hand. It landed at an awkward angle on the floor, kinking it’s pages. Hot and fast angry tears poured down her face. It was so frustrating. She opened her mouth, shut it, opened it willing any single sound to come out, just one, only one, anything! But nothing. She wanted to scream at him, he was supposed to help her. Fix her. It’d been months now. But nothing, no progress had been made. But this stupid psychological trauma stopped anything from coming out. She just wanted to talk again. This had cost her everything, her job, her friends who had stopped bothering to read her notes or learn ASL. These people, all these doctors and therapists were professionals they were supposed to fix her. This is bullshit! They should be able to fix her. Help her. She just wanted to talk again.

The Hunt
The Hunt As Atreya walked through the inner city gates on his way towards the Great Hall, he could barely contain his excitement. He felt as if he were vibrating with energy and possibility. Beneath all that energy however, there was fear. He may have been training for tomorrow for the past eight years, but that didn’t change the danger he was about to find himself seeking out. But the fear was easily swept aside by the rush of other emotions swirling through his body. As he got closer and closer to the Great Hall, Atreya’s mind began to focus on the activities of tonight’s Hunt ceremony. He thought of the Matriarch that would lead him and the other Hunters through their vows and protection rituals, he thought of the look on his parents face, his sister’s face as they watched him from the crowd, and then, as it always did, his mind settled on Celia. He was still daydreaming about her when he walked directly into a spice cart.
