Once Upon a Time: The Unforgettable Reunion
Once upon a time, in a beautiful college nestled by the hills, there were two girls, Suba and Janani. Both were known for their vibrant energy, kind hearts, and the strong bond of friendship they shared. They had met during their first year at college and quickly became inseparable. Whether they were studying, exploring new hobbies, or simply laughing over shared stories, they were always together. One day, their college organised a much-anticipated tour to a distant tourist spot. The plan was to visit ancient temples, waterfalls, and a breathtaking hilltop view. Both Suba and Janani were excited. They had packed their bags and eagerly waited for the day they would embark on the journey together. The morning of the tour arrived. The college bus stood ready, filled with students bubbling with excitement. But as the students started boarding the bus, Suba noticed that Janani was nowhere to be seen. Worried, Suba sent her several messages, but there was no response. Time was ticking, and the bus couldn’t wait any longer. Reluctantly, Suba got on the bus, hoping Janani would join them at the last moment, but the bus left without her. As they travelled through scenic roads and lush greenery, Suba couldn’t stop thinking about Janani. It was unlike her to miss such a trip. They had been planning it for weeks! She asked a few of Janani's classmates, but no one seemed to know why she hadn't shown up. The day felt incomplete without her best friend. The bus eventually reached the tourist spot, a picturesque valley surrounded by mountains and a sparkling river. Suba tried to enjoy the tour, but her mind was still on Janani. She walked around the temples, admired the beauty of the waterfalls, but it wasn’t the same. She was about to give up on having a good time when, suddenly, towards the end of the day, she saw a familiar figure in the distance. It was Janani! Surprised and overjoyed, Suba ran toward her friend. "Janani! How did you get here?" she asked, her eyes wide with excitement. Janani smiled, slightly out of breath. "I’m so sorry I missed the bus this morning. My phone battery died, and I overslept. By the time I woke up, the bus had already left. But I couldn’t let you go on this adventure without me, so I found a way." Suba looked puzzled, "What way?" Janani explained, "After realising I’d missed the bus, I decided to take a local cab to the nearest town. I met a kind driver who knew the location of the tourist spot and agreed to take me here. It took a few hours, but I knew I had to catch up with you. I couldn’t miss this trip, not when we promised to do it together!" Suba couldn’t believe her ears. "You came all this way, just to be here?" Janani nodded. "Of course! We’ve always shared everything, and I wasn’t going to let a missed bus keep us apart. Besides, it wouldn’t have been the same without you." The two girls hugged, relieved and happy to be reunited. Their day, which had started with disappointment, turned into one filled with laughter, adventure, and unforgettable memories. They explored the rest of the tourist spot together, taking photos, sharing stories, and relishing every moment of their friendship. As the sun began to set, painting the sky in shades of pink and orange, Suba and Janani sat by the river, watching the serene water flow. Suba smiled and said, "This day was meant to be shared with you, and I'm so glad you found your way here." Janani grinned. "We’ll always find our way back to each other, no matter what." And with that, the two friends continued their journey, knowing that no matter where life took them, they would always have each other's back. **The End.**

Whether you're in the early stages of a relationship or you've been with someone for a while, it's natural to wonder: Am I really in love? We've all heard phrases like "You'll just know" or "Love is complicated," but these don’t always help when you're trying to understand your feelings.

Separating Personal and Professional Life
I have set restrictions on work and social media in my life. It is vital to keep our personal and professional lives separate. I hear stories of people who make the mistake of befriending their co-workers or bosses on social media, only to face the consequences of their personal lives affecting their professional trajectory.

A Story of Friendship and Resilience
Jake and Selin were two peas in a pod. From the day they met in their college years, their friendship blossomed instantly. They shared the same sense of humour, loved the same indie music, and had a knack for staying up late, discussing life’s big questions. It felt as though they had known each other for years, even though they had just met. Jake was the quieter one, introspective and reflective, while Selin was vibrant and full of energy, but they balanced each other perfectly. They would spend weekends hiking, exploring hidden cafés, or simply watching sunsets, discussing their dreams. Both Jake and Selin were driven, passionate about their careers, and equally committed to helping one another grow. Their bond was so strong that even their friends admired how in tune they were with each other’s thoughts and emotions. Jake knew when Selin was stressed without her saying a word, and Selin always sensed when Jake needed a bit of encouragement to chase his goals. They weren’t just friends; they were soulmates, in the truest platonic sense. But as life often does, it threw an unexpected curveball. One day, Selin received devastating news. Her mother, whom she was incredibly close to, had been diagnosed with a serious illness. Selin was crushed. For someone who was always so full of life, the weight of this news brought her to her knees. She felt lost, overwhelmed, and frightened by the uncertainty of what lay ahead. Jake, who had always been her rock, stood by her side. He dropped everything to be there for her. He visited the hospital with her, held her hand through sleepless nights, and tried to provide a sense of normalcy when everything around them was changing. But Selin, who was always the strong one, began to crumble inside. The weight of her mother’s illness became too much for her to bear, and slowly, she started to withdraw. Jake noticed the shift, but he didn’t know how to help. He had always been good at offering quiet support, but this time, it felt like he was failing her. He watched helplessly as Selin began distancing herself not just from him but from everyone. She stopped responding to texts, avoided their usual hangouts, and even their once light-hearted conversations turned tense. Jake, struggling with his own life pressures at work, felt their bond slowly slipping away. The once inseparable duo was drifting apart, and it scared him. He tried everything—messages of support, surprise visits—but Selin kept pushing him away. It was as if she didn’t want him to see how vulnerable she had become. One evening, after weeks of silence, Jake received a text from Selin: “Can we talk?” He rushed over to her apartment, nervous but hopeful. When she opened the door, he barely recognised her. The usual spark in her eyes was dimmed, and she looked exhausted. They sat on her couch in an uncomfortable silence, until finally, Selin broke down. “I’m sorry, Jake. I don’t know how to handle this. I’ve been drowning in fear, and I didn’t want to drag you into my mess,” she confessed, tears streaming down her face. “I thought by pulling away, I could protect you from this pain.” Jake listened intently, his heart breaking for his friend. “Selin, you don’t have to protect me from anything. We’re in this together. You’ve always been there for me, and now, it’s my turn to be there for you. Please, don’t shut me out.” For the first time in weeks, Selin allowed herself to lean on Jake, and they talked for hours. She shared her fears, her frustrations, and her sadness. Jake listened, offering words of encouragement but more importantly, just being present. It wasn’t about fixing things, but about being there for her, no matter how messy or difficult life became. From that day forward, their friendship grew even stronger. Jake helped Selin find the courage to face her challenges head-on, and Selin, in turn, realised she didn’t have to carry the weight of the world on her shoulders alone. They learned that true friendship wasn’t just about the good times, but about weathering the storms together. Months passed, and while Selin’s mother’s condition was still serious, Selin had found her strength again. And through it all, Jake was by her side, just as she had been for him in the past. They discovered that the bond they shared wasn’t as fragile as they once feared. Instead, it had been fortified by the challenges they faced together. In the end, Jake and Selin came out of the storm stronger, more resilient, and more connected than ever. Life would always have its ups and downs, but they knew that as long as they had each other, they could face anything that came their way. Their friendship had been tested, but it had proven to be unbreakable, a beautiful reminder of the power of love, support, and unwavering loyalty.
