PERFECT HARMONY
Billy nervously paced the floor as he rubbed his sweaty palms together with anticipation of the unknown. He thought perhaps getting some fresh air might do him some good, so he strolled out to his front yard. He looked up at the dark clouds in the sky that had been threatening rain all afternoon, but yet to deliver. Billy prayed something arose that would deter his plans and a rainstorm seemed idea. However, he was running out of time because it was less than two hours before he was scheduled to meet the acquaintance of Lady D, a nickname for Delores Dickerson. Billy had partaken in a foolish bet with his best friend, Charles, and being the loser had him hooking up with a stranger from an internet dating site.

It's Friday, I'm in love
The first time I touched his hand was inside a cow, which proves nothing more than the countryside is bloody weird. London had sickened me in the end, just like Dad said it would. I arrived home in red soled shoes, my clothes in a bin bag, wine bottle clutched in my hand and my boss’s grope still hot on my breast. The clothes were bought, the grope unwanted, and the merlot I’d grabbed as I left the big smoke. It was my last chance. Up here, people considered wine to be something that came from a Land Rover gearbox if you pushed it above 20mph.

That Which We Call a Rose
Waverly stood and stretched. It had been a long, productive day of painting, and she was more than ready for a break. Before retreating from her studio, however, she took one last glance at the most recent piece of work. Pleased overall with the progression of her painting of the enormous, blue hydrangeas that sat upon the table, she cleaned her brushes and put away the multi-colored paint palette.

Out Of The Darkness
A woman guides me by the arm to my table. I can hear people around me laughing and conversing, but I can’t see any of them. The name of the restaurant is Pitch Black, and they offer a dining experience in complete and total darkness. Sheila, my sister, wasn’t kidding when she said that she was going to set me up on a blind date.

Pizza Doesn't Count
“Are you sure you don’t mind?” Alex was asking Dominic, knowing he had never been a fan of crowds. They stood outside one of the busiest restaurants in the city. It was hot enough outside that Dominic was finding his plain button-down shirt a little too warm. He undid the top couple of buttons as he answered her.

Just one
Sara- Chapter 1 Sara sat on the floor of her massive sized living room her mind racing so fast her eyes twitched. So much running through her head and yet her mind was a blank. No words or idea just empty thoughts flashing, racing. The only thing she could catch was what do I do, what do I do, or I don’t know which she interchangeably repeated out loud. She smelled rancid and had barley eaten in days running off of liquids and most of them contained some form of alcohol. “What do I do” she stammered “I don’t know, I don’t know” she whispered in reply. She curled herself up in a ball of fear wrapped herself in a blanket and drifted off to sleep.

My first time tasting Merlot
The night began and I was awaiting for her to arrive! We met online and had been texting, talking and video chatting for at least a month and the anticipation was growing! I was eager to see her in person, the lady that seemed to put a smile on my face everytime I heard her voice and vice versa! Beautiful in everyway, inside and out! She seemed to be fond of me as well but I was hoping that she would feel those same feelings once she met me in person!
