One Thing My Husband Told Me During Courting That I’ve Still Not Seen Till Today - Mercy Johnson-Okojie

Nigerian actress Mercy Johnson Okojie is one woman who makes her loving relationship with her family very public. Mercy Johnson Okojie is married to husband, Prince Odianosen Okojie, a businessman and politician and the couple got married eleven years ago but have known each other for 14 years. Together, the couple has four children.

During her Youtube show, Mercy's Menu, Mercy Johnson Okojie opened up about how she and her husband actually met, and also revealed one thing he said during the time when he was trying to toast her that she has still not seen until now. Here is what Mercy Johnson Okojie had to say about both things.

First, speaking about how she's been able to stay relevant for so long, Mercy Johnson said during an episode of her show, Mercy's Menu:

Staying true to yourself, living in your reality. You must never let the wave stop you from knowing what is right and wrong. It's like a wave, it keeps going. Everybody is moving with the waves but the wise ones, the smart ones know what is right and wrong. So don't let the wave tell you what is right and wrong, you already know. So live that reality.

Speaking about how she and her husband met, Mercy Johnson Okojie said:

He came to look for me in a salon. We first met on a flight, I was already popular at the time. He walked up to me. The most fascinating thing about my husband is he has guts. So he walks up to me and talks, I don't listen. The next time we met, he walked up to me and said aren't you going to cook for me? I said "my name is Mercy Johnson", he said "I know. Aren't you going to cook for me?" Then we went on a date and now, 4 kids. 5th one loading.

Speaking about one thing he said when he was toasting her that she has still not seen till today, Mercy Johnson Okojie said:

Since the very first day I met my husband, he's always told me he's a great cook. 14 years down the line, I've never tasted anything he made. He used it to chike the babe! [laughs].

Hahaha. That is very interesting. Oga really said anything that he had to in order to try and woo the woman he was interested in. Good for him, it worked, and now 4 kids later. The story of how Mercy and her husband met is also very interesting to me. Not everybody would like that kind of directness or bluntness.
