We all know that age out question, Honey where would you like to go out to eat? This also go along with so many other questions that couples have that end in a similar answer, I don't know hun, it's up to you! Which can leave couples at ends at time's.

Well, being a married man myself, I have had this conversation many times over with my wife. Most of it is trying to figure out what she feels like eating or what she feels like doing. We both have such different taste in food and things we each find enjoyable.

If you have read any of my other stories or poem's you would know I was raised out in the country and will eat pretty much anything that comes out of the garden. And sometime's just chilling and watching the sky weather during the day or wathcing the stars overhead at night. listening to the waves on a lake to listening to loud music and just feeling the vibe.

Her on the other hand wasn't raised the same way and doesn't like hardly anything fresh out of the garden or those things even cooked in any manner for that fact. So, in saying that; it is hard for me to pick a spot to eat that both of us are going to be happy with eating. Unless it's fast food or fat food is how I see it for the most part.

Then one evening sitting down with my wife and brother-in-law taking a break from drunk rock band, he enlightened us on something that he figured out during a long trip he had with his best friend which is a woman. He made the six-and-a-half-hour trip over to pick her up and see one and stay with one of his other friends. The next morning, they were on the way back driving from South-East Texas and their way to West Texas to stay for the week.

After a couple of hours of him driving he was feeling hungry. This is when he had his idea, he looked over at her as they were coming up to the next bigger city that had restaurant's and asked, " Are you hungry?" This worked right to his plan, she said yes. This is where his plan played right to key, then said, "Guess where we are going to eat?"

She just looked at him funny and said, "Burger King!"

He smiled at her and said, "Well that sounds good to me." Then he laughed and pulled into the Burger King parking lot.

He told us that you should have seen the look on her face when she answered, and he agreed. He told us that a person will always say what first comes to mind and what they want when it comes to guessing about something they are asked.

My wife was shock at this phenomenone her own brother came up with. But she had to agree with him about the subject because she and I have had that same kind of conversations but where to go to eat to from what we were going to do for the day.

But still at times men you just have to wing it and just surprise your woman with something you want to do. Even if that is just taking a long night drive and letting those winding roads lead to wherever you want to go, like that late night fishing hole.

So, men stop say what do you want to do and where do you want to eat? And start saying guess what we are doing and guess where we are going to eat and don't look too surprised when you hear the answer. Just going with the flow and enjoy the evening.

I hope you enjoyed the read and got something from it. Be blessed and hope this will help you along the way.
