It is no easy life when you are the youngest out of seven and the only boy. Now since I am a man stories flow through my mind like whispers on the wind on a dark summers night. I hope you enjoy what you read as you truly see inside of me.
Christina's Last Days at Home By: Danyel Fields
During this early fall Friday Christina was still at work. With how loud it always was in the factory she couldn't hear her phone ring. When break finally came around she got the chance to check her phone. She had one unknown missed phone call, thankfully they left a voicemail. She couldn't think of anyone who would be leaving a voicemail, other than she had done an interview with a producer just this last Monday from Hollywood. She didn't check it right than, she figured after work would be better.
Mary Jane and Me
Okay Mary Jane, Cannabis, Weed, Pot, and by the many more name's this plant goes by and has been a part of my life since a freshmen in high school. Yeah, you might think that wasn't that long ago but I am almost forty now. So, when you break it down like that, it's been twenty five years or so. Back then it wasn't anything like it is now in days. This story here is going to break things down in my lifetime on what I have learned and how it has helped me along my way.
Oh, Cannabis By: Danyel Fields
Oh, Cannabis Oh, Cannabis. The plant I find so divine. Smoking and toking ever since I was just a little guy. From the early morning sun to the very last star in the sky.
Shaping A Flower Garden By: Danyel Fields
I am a person with vision and love to work with my hands. I know that not everything can be done with only my hands but with dependable tools as well. The picture above way day two of a two week journey that I made beautiful. As you can tell there are a lot of rocks that had to be removed before I could start my art. You can also see that large pile of what looks like leaves and sticks. I will tell you those aren't your average leaves you see; that is a huge pile of poison ivy. So, not a job for the everyday Joy to go out and take care of. Plus, all those rocks piles you see and didn't really know what I was getting into until I started pulling all the ivy out. Then rock after rock seemed to be endless as the days went on. After day four was over I finally got most of it cleared out and the ivy pulled back to a pile in the woods behind the house.
My Dreams By: Danyel Fields
Like it says above; how my life would be if I had money! I'm from the Great Lake State of Michigan about mid way up in the mitten in Newaygo county. Beautiful land and lakes with great people all around willing to share a smile with strangers. It is a place I am grateful for growing up in and around. I have never really settled down in one place and have always been on the move. Weather that be my felt or other's but the real blame is on no one other than on myself.
Memory Farm Walking
Creating my happiness isn't all that hard but does take some hard work. I am a farmer at heart and always have been. This goes all the way back to when I was a child tending the gardens with my grandfather. We had some fun and some very rememberable moments as well. Some even still stick with me until this day, like when he told me that horseradish tasted just like an onion! Let me tell you, oh my goodness it does not taste like an onion. I remember Grandma yelling at him about it while I was drinking milk. With him just standing there laughing his butt off about it. From that day forth I never sat down and ate onions with Grandpa. Before that we would eat them like they were apples, peel them eat them. But it never stopped me from going over there and spending time with him out in his gardens or any other time.
I Wish I had Photos
I wish I had photos of my past, one's with family and friends memories that were to made to last. The photos I have are still frames in my mind, hoping as days pass they don't erase in time. Some of these memories date back to a really young age from preschool to kindergarten all the way to yesterday. All I have is thinking back remembering time's good and bad mostly good for a matter of fact. Why sit and dwell on the things that aren't alright, they will only stop the good things from shining bright. These thoughts can be as light as a feather and slowly drift away as quickly as they gather. Only if I had the photos of yesterday could I hold the thoughts together sharing them without them slipping away.
Mitten Summer Day
I stretch my arms to thee sky, bright is thee early morning. Things to do and people to see, not me on this wonderful lavish day. Smell of camp fire coffee in the air, grabbing thee cup from thee pack. Cannot wait for a taste a mouthful of thee sweet richness I shall receive. Thee water seems as smooth as silk. Beautiful is thee colors shimmering off it's skin. Two boats four men best friends in thee wilderness again. Fresh air good talks good buds getting away from it all thee stresses, thee business, all of the above. Four friends doing things like when we were young. Out on thee lake all day catching our grub. Scoping out all thee places to explore. Wet lines good times and memories to die for. A mitten summer day is what we come to enjoy.
