It is very common if your ex boyfriend is showing a little interest of reconnecting. However if you are asking yourself "how to tell if he still wants me", you need to avoid pulling the trigger too soon when you spotted the signs.

If you simply jump into conclusions, you may find your ex pushing you away again. When you recognized that he is giving indications that he wants you back, then the odds are, he is paying attention to you which is a positive sign but it's not final. It probably resulted in the way you play hard to get in the first place in which is a natural sign that a guy would give.

Subconsciously, a guy may give several different signs that he wants you back. Below are some of the signs that you might or will recognize while you are trying to win his heart back:

Fidgeting

You can easily spot this when you are in a group of friends which includes him. He will move or act differently from people around you. For instance, if he is holding a pen you will see him playing with his pen quite often. While you are checking on him to look for this sign, make sure you doesn't look so obvious because if you do, the game is turning against you.

Checking on you through his friends

He would say hi to you indirectly. He would asks his friends or your friends about you. The reason is because both of you had a breakup and it kind of prevented him to approach you directly.

Staring at you and...

turns his head away if you ever noticed. Also, if you are in groups of people that includes him, see if he is playing around(fidgeting) or giving you a glance even when you were looking at him. To do this it is good to put your sun shades on.

Tries to make contact with you

He may "accidentally" bump into you, if it happens more than once, it's obvious. Also he might leave you a missed call on your cell or text you.

Talk dirty

If both of you were used to talk dirty, then he might try it again.

Sweet names

Baby, honey, gorgeous among others... just to remind you of the old days.

Jealous

He might act slightly jealous when you're talking to or about another guy...and then he'll want to know ALL about him so he can try and work out if he's got competition.

Remember the old days?

Since you were once with him, remember when the first time he fell for you? Likely he'll act the same way as the first time.

Every other guy has different ways of showing his interest and you should be able to spot it since you were together before. If you recognized all or some of his old traits like the above, do not give in too early. Asking him out also would do you no good because it will give him way too much of ego boost. Continue playing hard to get but do it moderately, keep him coming for you until he make the real move towards getting back to you.

Usually after a break up, no matter who instigated it, there will be a natural feeling of missing one another even though both of you are mad at each other. This is so true following a bond that has been created while you were together. Your ex boyfriend is going to miss you as much as you would, but because of recent breakup, it rarely shows on the surface.

Please be advised that sometimes when an ex shows interest again after a break up, it could only be a game, especially if he is the kind of guy that knows his ways to your heart or any other girl's heart. They may pretend to pay attention to you simply to get your attention, without actually intending to get you back. And worst of all they may use this as an excuse to get revenge. This is why it is important for you not to pull the trigger too soon, and why you should focus on reading into the situations before acting on it.

This is common, and a lot of people find themselves wondering "does my ex want to get back with me?", but the truth is, its better to get a feel for the situation before you act, it will prevent you from getting hurt if your ex boyfriend is not really serious about getting back with you.

Getting Your Ex Boyfriend Back is Not a Game at All

Relying on silly behavior -- cheap tricks or schemes, won't get your ex boyfriend back. More often than not, they might be good for a week or two, but they are meaningless for anything that matters. You must take the right approach to get your ex boyfriend back in your life, yes... some strategy. And although it involves some strategy, you must not play it as a game. You wouldn't want to backfire it all up against you.

Many people are out there willing to give a great deal of advice about how to rebuild relationships after they go through break ups. I personally have used some of it. Fortunately I've found one that is legitimate, with rock-solid perspective about how to approach a difficult situation in a smart and honest way.

During my course of finding the right approach, I've found some that's nothing more than a recitation of mind games that would abuse my ex boyfriend emotions while demeaning myself. Such plan suggests exploiting your ex's weaknesses or setting up a bogus jealousy. It's a good thing that I was awake enough then to realized that exploiting my ex's weaknesses isn't a recipe for lasting love. In fact, it's a sick parlor trick that won't bring the two of us closer together. It's selfish.

You don't need to play games to get your ex boyfriend back. You can do it without taking morally shameful shortcomings. You can honestly do it, in a straightforward way that leaves your dignity intact. When you are on the course of getting your ex back, you're dealing with your future and you're handling human hearts and emotions - which happens to be yours and that of your ex. This is indeed a serious business, this is not a game... definitely not a time to be tricky.

I've seen a lot of women already who have made a scandalous remark on themselves under the mistaken belief that silly plan make them more appealing to men. I'm talking about those who rely on cleavage or short skirts to attract the interest of their ex. Now let me tell you that trying to be extra seductive is not a good idea. You can do that after the two of you are together! This is a time to build a strong underlying basis from which you can grow your relationship, thus relying on such tricks won't make a difference.

If you really want your ex boyfriend back, make your best effort. Get him back the right way. Rebuilding your relationship into something meaningful, needs an honest foundation and a true understanding of one another. Approaching making up like a game simply can't provide that. Getting your ex back without the silliness and a good approach is absolutely the strategy that will surely work.
