Mariah Carey will always be crowned the Queen of Christmas!

You must've lost your mind to challenge or question why that title belongs to her!

In 1994, Mariah Carey released her fourth studio album titled Merry Christmas a year after her third album titled Music Box. This was her first Christmas album, and it remains the best-selling and impactful Christmas album of all time. Not one Christmas album from any artist in twenty-eight years has yet to change nor compete with that. Merry Christmas was certified 8x Multi-Platinum on December 14, 2020, by the Recording Industry Association of America. There are ten tracks on the album.

The eight tracks are covers while two tracks are original songs written by Mariah Carey with her pianist Walter Afanasieff and those tracks are All I Want for Christmas Is You and Miss You Most at Christmastime. In December of 2019, the same album jingled all the way back to the top 10 on Billboard 200 chart. Every year, one of these songs continues to rise to the number one spot on Billboard. I don’t even have to say what it is because it is already known.

In 2010, The Songbird Supreme (a title that was earned and not trademarked) released her thirteenth studio album/second Christmas album Merry Christmas II You (brilliant title, of course!) which was also a holiday special on the ABC network. She was carrying twins if I’m not mistaken when she hopped on that stage and did her thing! The album has thirteen tracks, and don’t you forget, two original songs written by her on the album: Oh, Santa and When Christmas Comes! She re- recorded one of those songs as a duet with John Legend even though he’s not on the album version.

In 2015, Mariah Carey published a children’s book All I Want for Christmas Is You based on the song itself.

In 2017, Mariah Carey starred in an animated Christmas film All I Want for Christmas with Lacey Chabert, Phil Collins, Henry Winkler, Charlie Adler and many more.

In 2022, Mariah Carey did a third Christmas special Mariah’s Christmas: The Magic Continues on Apple TV and released the soundtrack album. Another success!

Mariah Carey has not only sung Christmas tunes but has also penned the holiday into pages and put the holiday on the screen! Once December comes around, Mariah Carey's name will roll off the tip of someone's tongue and it has been like that for many years. That's not my fault why you have been living under rock the entire time! Ask any artist from this generation about Christmas music and who do think they are going mention. MARIAH CAREY!

When you hear those little speakers in these stores and malls in December, what common artist will you hear? MARIAH CAREY! When you hear the radio in November/December, what artist besides Stevie Nicks or Michael Bublé are they going blast through those speakers? MARIAH CAREY! I had to read someone in the comments under a YouTube post today for the same damn thing before I ever thought, I had to write an article like this.

I couldn't believe what they typed. Why do you think non-Mariah Carey fans refer to her as The Christmas lady? The general public was already giving MC " The Queen of Christmas ". Once again, that's not my fault because you've been living under a rock for this too! She has every right to be crowned the Queen of Christmas because of the consistency and the impact! So, if anyone is trying to take something from anyone it would be Mariah Carey because how dare you!

Have a blessed day to whoever reads this article whether you are a Lamb or not and who comprehends everything that I have written.
