Letter to a Lighthouse

What’s the word to describe feeling homesick for a place you’ve never been?

The stars whisper of worlds yet to be revealed

There is a kind of magic that exists in our world. It exists within us. Our whole lives we are urged to search for it while the key sits in our pocket. As this world is waking up we are being called to find what we’ve forgotten. You know that popular plot on tv shows and movies where the main character experiences a major event and wakes up to discover they’ve had superpowers all along? Well what if that was a very real thing? There’s a reason that plot sells. It speaks to something deep within our bones; stirring something that desperately longs to be awakened. The only thing in our way is the conditioning instilled in us from the time our beautiful exquisite brains begin to make sense of the world. We are told that it’s not real or impossible. But a new world is emerging. An era built on truth, unity, justice, free thinking, and humanitarianism. Hand in hand we are being called to question everything that we were told was impossible. Because we will soon learn that the impossible is only an illusion. If we can think it we can create it.

I decided to write this article to all the beautiful souls out there who are beginning to ask these questions. The souls that always felt a little out place. A little foreign on this planet. One of my biggest unanswered questions was why nowhere quite felt like home to me. What others see as normal always felt a little foreign at times. Why do we lie? Why do we not tell others how we feel? Why do we say the opposite of how we feel? Why do we create boarders and establish ownership of earth? And what is up with our obsession with flags? For so long I felt a calling for a place where I was truly understood and deeply loved. And what I’ve come to learn is that the beauty of this incarnation is to not be understood. This planet can seem very lonely to a soul that sees the world in an array of synchronicities, whimsy, and connection. We feel deeply. Know deeply. And think deeply. We can often find ourselves wading in a river of the emotions from others; forgetting the weights tied to our feet don’t even have our names on them. We keep our thoughts and feelings to ourselves because most times they are met with shallow concern or interest. We can feel lies. They pierce our heart and sink deep in our gut. We find purpose in everything, know things without explanation, and see beyond what the eyes can perceive. We are a bridge between worlds; constantly pulling back the veil into other dimensions. If any of this resonates with you, dear star child, just know there are others. Others who wish to heal this planet and all those on it. You have a cosmic mission here and when you begin to shine your light in this sea of confusion you beckon to others who also feel lost. You rekindle the flame of a seeded wisdom; warming a deep sense of knowing that there is work to be done. In this moment you come to realize being misunderstood has been your compass all along.

Some may call it empath, highly sensitive, starseed, witch, or intuitive. At the core of it all though know that your presence on this planet is healing alone. You shift energy and frequencies into joy and compassion simply by being. Your mission is a personal intimate journey for your own soul growth. By finding you, by living your joy, by speaking more open throated you send a ripple out into the universe. How powerful you are, sweet soul, that just being you can change the world. So take a deep breath. Settle into your body. Throw your head back and sing the melody long forgotten. It is time to remember.
