Whether we like it or not, the emergence of conflicts in interpersonal relationships is inevitable. Even the most welded marriages are not free from periodic misunderstandings, of greater or lesser magnitude, and it is natural to be so once the conflict is inherent in life and, up to a point, it is a necessary leaven and an engine of progress.
Nate HaganPublished 2 years ago in Humans5 Reasons to Be Lazy Without Regrets
We all happen to have days when we are so tired that we feel like we can't do anything, right? You worked hard all week, you didn't get enough sleep, you had more and more things to do and your resources seemed to run out.
Kristeen BawlerPublished 2 years ago in HumansHow To Become A Better Partner: 10 Tips to Grow Your Relationship.
1. Ask your partner something new Communication is arguably the #1 determining factor of success for every relationship. It’s nice to ask how your partner’s day went, but it can feel routine when you ask the same thing every day or don’t branch out into new topics of conversation. Enhance your relationship and communication by putting in the extra effort to question your significant other on something more specific. By asking new questions (like “How did you feel about that?” or “What do you prefer doing at work instead?”), you’ll avoid going through the motions, listen more intently to each other, and have more meaningful discussions.

Bryan HamptonPublished 2 years ago in HumansSo, where do we go from here?
I lived and worked in the city of Toronto for over twenty years. The city was never kind to me in the sense that it was easy to live there. I struggled like half the population struggles with earning enough money to stay afloat. Getting ahead required a level of insanity that often included taking more than one job. This isn't a new thing but it is something that has been met with increasing difficulty for several years, escalating even more during this Pandemic. Simply put, people can't afford to live there anymore. So what do you do? I'm not a quitter but the world is changing on a level that is difficult to measure. I don't mean in a simple way, where the times are "a-changing", and you either choose to change or you choose to remain, left to stew in your own stagnant life juices. There is no choice here. This isn't just about surviving until you figure something better out. We can't just sit and wait for things to get back to normal. I'm not sure that is even going to be painted with a brush that we even fully grasp at this point. What we need to do is find a way to Sur-thrive.

Were the predictions for 2021 right?
I want to keep up with this one this year and get this done sooner. So, let's get started. Judy Heavenly said that Joe Biden will have a health problem in the beginning of the year and spring or summer. I could not find any news articles supporting that. Judy also says that this won't be Joe's only term, that he would use this term to decide if he would run again. Well, I found articles saying that Joe wants to run for another term. We will not know how that turns out until the next election. She also says that Joe will find common ground with Republicans when it comes to the Covid-19 and right now the main politician talking about Covid is Joe. There have been some disagreements about masks and mandates lately.
Lena BaileyPublished 2 years ago in HumansFIGHT FOR PEACE
Make this your new year's resolution: In 2022, I will fight for my peace of mind. Is fighting for peace an oxymoron? No, not when the enemy is keeping me awake all night fighting negative thoughts. Please don't tell me that I need to stop having negative sleep-deprived thoughts and think myself peacefully off to sleep. I just and finally realized that I am my own worst enemy. It’s Dec 31, 2021 and sleep seems out-of-control and tonight chaos reigns. Where is my peace of mind when I need it? My peace of mind must be asleep but it is time to wake up!
Leslie Leona TockeyPublished 2 years ago in HumansMaybe...
Image by Jessia Felicio on Unsplash Maybe… I know I'm scared to love you… But I know I want to hold you. I want to feel that slow exhale of tender happiness of your breathe while my head lays on your chest, and I draw air hearts on your arm. I know I don't want to love you because I still can't tell if this is love or if this is lust… but it feels so right.
The Secret Signs of Love
Just as women are accustomed to biting their lips, arranging their hair, or bringing their legs closer when attracted to the man she is talking to, so it is with men!
Nojus HarringtonPublished 2 years ago in HumansI Can’t Get Pregnant
Many women want to get pregnant but fail. They face physical problems because they cannot conceive a child but also psychological ones. Feelings of guilt, frustration, sadness appear, the man questions his virility, and the woman feels unfulfilled, becomes obsessed with the idea of getting pregnant, and thus sexual intercourse becomes an obligation, it is no longer a pleasure. These feelings and feelings caused by the impossibility of having a child lead to strained relationships and therefore couples should consult a psychologist when dealing with infertility.
Harvey-Lee MurphyPublished 2 years ago in HumansThe Awakening
I opened my eyes to peace, stillness and a deafning quiet. Waking up to silence was usual since I was born without the gift of sound. I saw the brilliance of a billion stars. Light was all around me, it was as though it was alive, a burning fire to show me the way. However, I somehow sensed that something was not quite right, I was looking through a moving glass, clear and serene. It wasn't until I moved my arms and felt a coolness hugging my skin that I realized I was under water.
