The Lost Scrolls of Nestor & Tinka 2022
Getting warmed up The first Sunday morning, one of our favorite age-old traditions is 'the song' with our friends The Dregs at 9:30 AM. Right before the song begins, we are playfully warming up our voices. Nestor sings, "mi mi mi," and it slowly becomes an ego-maniacal, "Me. Me. Me...Me!"

Margherita Musella, "Scuola di cucina... io e le altre"
I have read all of Margherita Musella’s books and I must say that this latest novel sees a darkening of her thinking that remains positive ad nauseam, full of confidence and perspective, but more as a self-imposed belief than as a real foundation. Here, fear and uncertainty about the future break out, here they come to terms with the disease. Beliefs Got Nothing To Do With It
I’m not one of those people that gets super pissed every time some ignoramus spouts off about how global warming is a hoax, or the earth is only 6000 years old, or any other such silly thing. In my view, there always has been, and always will be, a subset of people who simply lack the capacity or the desire or the intelligence or whatever it is, to comprehend and/or accept basic facts about the universe and the world we live in. I simply acknowledge that and move on, I most definitely am not out pounding the pavement, evangelizing for the scientific worldview, no matter how many science journals or science based media outlets tell me I should be.

The Day I met Dawn Staley
This is a true story (about 2 percent embellished). The time was also great in the ATL. The year was 1996, and the Olympic vide had the city on lockdown. Atlanta was already the "up and coming" place to be and it was natural to see a famous political figure, or famous person at any random moment. I even ran into Ernie King as we both pulled up and parked right next to each other in the parking lot going to Kroger one day. Atlanta was just that type of city. My brother claimed that Halle Berry even paid a visit to his store one day.
