She looks at her without a sign of getting' scared. Until, her mom started throwing their utensils. She was starving but she knew that she couldn't eat now that her mother starts making a scene, again.🤷‍♀️ She had been like that since her grade school. She put her food on the fridge that she has prepared for her dinner.

"You're a spoiled brat Sabrina. You never listen to me."

As she slapped Sabrina.

"How could I, mom?? When you've chosen being annulled? You never ask what I wanted and needed. You never loved your husband which is my father. You always go after the money. And wanna know what's worst than that, mom? You're only living for yourself."

And, for the first time she let out those words she was hiding for a very long time. Tears slowly falling from her mother's eyes.

"Sab it's for you and your sisters. When would you understand that I did it for you and your siblings. I loved your father, just had to decide and accept things between us."

And still, Sabrina wasn't believing her reasons.

"Oh come on mom... Now, if you'll excuse me 'cause I have a lot of school projects."

The next day...

Sabrina walks along the hallway when she saw Austin standing on his locker. 'Do I have to approach him?" she asks herself.

"Hi Austin! Ah... you've been early for our first subject."

Austin faced her and slightly smiles.

"Nah. I'm waiting Railey."

Sabrina gets confused that makes her facial reaction changed. Austin snapped his fingers.

"You okay Sab?" asks Austin then Sabrina looked at him seriously.

'Why is he calling me Sab? Are we even close?" Sabrina does not realized that she says it louder.

"Oh I thought it's okay for you if I call you Sab," he says dismayed.

"Yeah... yeah"

After a few minutes, Railey arrives accompanied by Martin.

"Hi Austin! Oh you're here Sabrina."

Her bad side was startling to get out.

"Of course, I'm your best friend Railey. Right? Where would you want me to go? Or should I say, who do you want me be with?"

Austin glares and parted them. Martin interrupts their conversations and gave the bouquet of flowers.

"This is for you, Sabrina. Well ah... hope you like it."

Sabrina smiles genuinely and thanked him. She does not want Austin turns out hating her. Martin left the moment she receives his gift. Railey gets along with Austin going to their classroom. She goes straightly to their room then she saw Austin sitting besides Railey.

"Where do you think will I sit Mr. Austin Bazzare?" she asks nonchalantly. Austin looked at her then he smirks.

"Why won't you just sit at the back since it's not occupied?"

As he pointed the last chair. Her charm and bad ass personality could not be used against Austin. She goes straightly to the chair left at back and put her things on.

"Hays... stupid creäture."

Austin amused at her. He was watching how she gets mad and rants. Austin notices she was ranting herself. She glances and glares at him for abt' ten seconds. Nevertheless, she does not think if he'll be turn off because of her attitude towards him. She gets bored as time goes by because their instructor is not yet coming. She stood and walks on her way thru' the door but unfortunately she does not notice Austin blocked her way that made her slips on the floor.

"Ouch! Ugh... What's your problem, huh??"

She asks rubbing her butt. She was pissed off but she tries controlling herself not to freak out. Uncertainly, Austin smirks.

"Nothing Babe."

Sabrina glares then stands gracefully. She holds his collar and pulls him closer, "Don't ever start a game that you can't handle, Babe" she whispered. Sabrina swiftly went out of their room and headed to the restroom.

-07 August 2019-

Sabrina wakes up because of the noises coming from the sala. She went out of her room as soon as changes her clothes and she was dumbfounded. Austin along with their classmates in the sala.

"Why are they here?" she asked herself confusedly.

She terribly wants to get back inside her room, realizing she had forgotten washing her face and gurgles. Of course, she does not want Austin seeing how messy her hair.

"Thanked God Sabrina, you already woke up."

Sabrina frowns the moment their eyes met. Then, she remember what Austin did to embarrassed her in front of their classmates.

"Don't you remember we have group project Sabrina?"  Railey asked.

"Of course, I do. Okay?" I was just tired that's why I get up late," she says yawning.

Austin smiles the moment he gazes and saw her yawned.

"Why? Did you went out last night?"

"Nope. I slept late," she responds quickly.

Afterwards, she made her way through the kitchen. After she had her breakfast, she went upstairs and takes a bath. The moment she dressed up she strode her way back to the sala. Her mother prepares food for their lunch but after that her mother left the house. Sabrina used to be alone and it's something that wouldn't change (she thought). She always feels insanity although she was livin' with her mother. Sabrina doesn't know that her group mates already planned where they would do their project.

"Are you done?" Troy asks.

"Yeah, I will just go to my room and get the things we needed for this one," she motioned thru' the project they'll be doing.

"Nah... no need. I mean we're doing it to the Bazzare's residence," Railey chimed in.

Her jaw dropped, "Why, I mean you're already here? Why shouldn't we do it here?"

"Actually, we went here just to fetch you Sab," he explains.

"Haha. What's the difference of doin' it here and there?" she sighed.

She quickly went upstairs and changed shorts into pajama. She was wearing her comfy white shirt that hugged her body. Austin glances at soon Sabrina downstairs when Troy smirks at him. Sabrina wears her sandals, "we're good to go" she says.

Austin was having a hard time to understand her. For him, she was still this young lady who are spoiled brat and controlling person as hell. He and the other group mates headed their way thru' his home. As soon as they reached their home, Austin prepared merienda for them. His mother went downstairs and greeted them warmly, "Hey kids! How's your day?"

Sabrina stares at her for a while, curiosity was running through her mind, "Does his mother was just like her mom? Did she get married because of money, also? "

A lot of things were running on her mind. As soon, Austin put their merienda on the centre table, he noticed that Sabrina was staring blankly on the floor. Austin tapped her shoulder, "Are you okay? Something's bothering you?" he asked.

"Nah... just... ahm remember something," she lied.

"Yeah, okay."

After a few minutes, Austin's mother went to her work. Then, they started doing their project. Sabrina tried holding her questions to Austin but unfortunately she couldn't.

"Are you close to your mom?"

Austin looked at her curiously, "Of course, why? I mean she's my mom so why wouldn't we be that close? How 'bout you with your mom?" he asked back.

Sabrina sighed, "Ah okay... nevermind."

While doing their work Railey breaks the silence, "Sab who would accompany you on our Family Day? Like, it will be held next week, right?!"

"I dunno they're all busy as usual," she told nonchalantly.

"How about your mom? I think she would be happy, imagine you'll be having the speech. It will all be worth it if she's there," she says proudly.

"Railey, why don't you just focus on this project? Besides, it's my own family so stop bothering. Will you?" she snapped.

After Austin printed the designs they made Sabrina made up her mind to go home.

"Can I go home now?" she asked.

"Why?" Austin frowned.

"We're done with all these. So, I guess I could go now or at least you'll allow me guys," she told.

"I'll drive you home, I mean you and our classmates," he alibis.

"Okay," she uttered.

Austin grabbed the chance he has, as he drive them home. Sabrina and him left on the car. She was sitting on the passenger sit. Austin stops the car that made her looked at him.

"Why'd you stop? We're nearly home," she told.

Austin looked at her, "Are you really okay?"

"Yeah," she quickly announced.

Austin breathed deeply and drive the manouevre. Sabrina pulled out from his car quickly as she can, "thank you." Austin follows her and grabbed her arm. Sabrina was frightened due to his actions. She looked fiery, "What the hell was your problem, huh?" she snapped.

"Nothing, but I know you probably have. To be honest, you can tell me anything. I can always be here to listen," he told sincerely.

She gritted, "I'm totally fine."

Sabrina left him outside their house. She headed to her room and laid her body. She was very tired although she knew that all they did was the project earlier. She was staring on the ceiling when she heard a knocked getting louder comin' from their house. She looked out of her window to see who it was. None other than Austin "Stupid!" she blurted. After a while, she went outside and opens the gate, "Why are you here?" she asked nonchalantly.

Austin rubbed the back of his neck, "Oh... I just wanna know if you're okay."

Sabrina laughed, "What the fuck! Are you seriously that kind of guy?"

"Couldn't you see? I'm alive and breathing," he tensed.

"I think you should go home now and rest," she told.
