Growing into a pearl

Once upon a time, there was a mussel farmer who wanted to raise one of the largest and most beautiful pearls in the world.

He went to the beach and asked the grains of sand, one by one if they were willing to become pearls, and one by one they shook their heads no. The mussel farmer asked from early morning to dusk, and he was about to despair.

Just then, one grain of sand said yes to him.

The grains of sand next to him laughed at the grain of sand, saying it was too stupid to live in a clamshell, away from family and friends, not to see the sun, rain, moon, and wind, and even lack of air, only with the darkness and humidity, cold and lonely for the company, not worth it.

But the grain of sand still went with the mussel breeder without complaint.

The stars have moved on, several years have passed, and the grain of sand has grown into a crystal clear, valuable pearl, while those who once laughed at its silly partners, but are still just a pile of sand, some have weathered into the earth.

The Fable

If there is a "stone into gold" in the world, it is "hardship and suffering". This is the greatest treasure of life! You endure, persevere, when walking through the long tunnel of darkness and suffering, you may be surprised to find that ordinary as a grain of sand, you have unknowingly grown into a pearl.

Catching the exam

There was a scholar who went to the capital for the third time to catch the exam and lived in a store where he often stayed. Two days before the exam he had three dreams, the first dream was that he was growing cabbage on the wall, the second dream was a rainy day, he wore a bucket hat and also an umbrella, and the third dream was that he was lying naked with his beloved cousin, but with his back against the back.

These three dreams seem to have some deeper meaning, Xiu Cai rushed the next day to find a fortune teller to interpret the dream. The fortune teller heard, and even beat his thighs and said: "You'd better go home. Think about it, the high wall planting vegetables is not a waste of effort? Wearing a hat and umbrella is not a waste of time? And cousin is naked lying in a bed, but back to back, is no play?"

Hearing this, Xiu Cai was discouraged and went back to the store to pack his bag and prepare to go home. The shopkeeper was very strange and asked, "Isn't the exam tomorrow, how come you're going back to your hometown today?" Xiu Cai said so and so, and the shopkeeper was happy: "Yo, I can also interpret dreams. I do think that you must stay this time. Think about it, the wall is not a high planting vegetable? Wearing a bucket hat and umbrella does not mean you are prepared this time? With your cousin stripped back-to-back lying on the bed, does not indicate that the time for you to turn over is coming?" When Xiu Cai heard this, it made even more sense, so he took the exam in high spirits, and won a tantrum.

The Moral

Positive people, like the sun, shine everywhere, negative people, like the moon, the first 15 days are different. Ideas determine our life, what kind of ideas, and what kind of future.

Chen A-Tu

Chen A-tu is a farmer in Taiwan and has never been out of the country. After saving money for half of his life, he finally joined a tour group and went abroad. Everything abroad is very new, the key is, that Chen Atu participated in the luxury group, a person living in a standard room. This makes him new and strange.

In the morning, the waiter knocked on the door to deliver breakfast and said loudly, "Good Morning, Sir!" Chen Atu was frozen. What does this mean? In his hometown, strangers would usually ask, "What is your name?" So Chen Ah-Tu shouted, "My name is Chen Ah-Tu!"

As it was, for three days in a row, the waiter came knocking on the door, saying loudly every day, "Good Morning, Sir!" And Chen Ah-Tu shouted back, "My name is Chen Ah-Tu!" But he was very angry. This waiter was too stupid to ask his name every day, and it was annoying to tell him and not remember. Finally, he couldn't resist asking the guide what "Good Morning, Sir!" meant, and the guide told him, oh my! It was so humiliating. Chen Atu practiced the word "Good Morning, Sir!" over and over again so that he could handle the waiter with dignity.

Another morning, the waiter came knocking on the door as usual, and as soon as the door opened, Chen Atu shouted, "Good Morning, Sir!" Meanwhile, the waiter shouted, "I am Chen Atu!"

The Moral

Human interaction is often a battle of willpower versus willpower. Either you influence him or he influences you, and to be successful, we must cultivate our influence, and only those who have great influence can become the strongest.

The son of a fisherman king

There was a fisherman who had first-class fishing skills and was respected by the fishermen as the "King of Fishermen". However, the fisherman king was very distressed in his old age because his three sons were all very mediocre.

So he often told people about his anguish: "I don't understand, I am so good at fishing, why are my sons so bad? I have been teaching them fishing techniques since they could understand, starting from the basics, telling them how to weave the net to catch the fish most easily, how to row the boat without disturbing the fish, and how to cast the net to invite the fish into the jar most easily - all the experience I have summed up after years of hard work, I have taught them without reservation, but their fishing skills could not catch up with the sons of ordinary fishermen!
