Moving on sounds like the most daunting thing in the world doesn't it? It's really difficult. You have to change your routines, and uproot your whole life. This can be easy for some people but for some it's the most difficult thing in the whole world. But honestly sometimes it's what you need to do; and here's why. Sometimes being in a situation too long is unhealthy and it may actually cause more harm then good. You owe it to yourself to move on. It could be the best thing for you. And maybe just maybe you'll find yourself in the process.

You know the saying your new life is going to cost you your old one? That is very true. You have to shed your old self in order to become better then before. Sometimes you have to get your heart cracked open like a f***ing walnut in order to come back stronger then before. It's going to hurt, really bad. It's going to physically hurt. You're going to feel like crap for a while. It's going to take time. But it's worth it when you get through the hard times. You'll feel better. And more peaceful in life.

Does that saying sound cliche to you? Of course it does but it's true. Sometimes the more cliche a saying is the truer it is I think. Now what are you moving on from? Well it could be a job, relationship or friends or even an experience. All of which are difficult to move on from depending on the situation. No matter how difficult or easy it maybe it's still necessary to do. So how does one move on? Well there's a lot of things one can do. You can read self help books, and go to therapy. You can do a solo trip or do something like that. All of which are valid options. Anything you feel like you need to do for yourself do it. You don't need to ask anyones opinions or imput. You don't owe anyone anything. If you want to do something to move on do it. The only person you need to take care of in this moment is yourself.

Other things you can do are you can try and meet new people and really see what's out there. That will be fun! Especially if you just moved to a new city. Don't hide in your room all day. Go out and see the world. Now if you're moving on from a relationship, make a new routine for yourself and yourself only. Take the best care of yourself. You deserve it. Don't settle for less then you deserve. Take the time to really get to know yourself again.

Another thing you can do is surround yourself with loved ones. Friends and family are the best medicine. Or you can get a dog or a cat if possible. There's nothing sweeter then a dog or a cat greeting you in the morning and when you come home from work. The bond between a pet and humans is amazing. You sort of think of them as a child. Pets can really help you heal from whatever it is you need to move on from.

Finally moving on can be so freeing. Getting all the negative energy out of your life and letting positive energy come in. You'll smile more and you'll feel more at peace which is what you deserve. You don't deserve harsh energy. You deserve love and happiness. Most of all you deserve nothing but the best in life always. And nothing less then the best.
