The Post Amble

We, the humans of this material plane, in order to reform with perfect Union, establish Oneness, insure spiritual tranquility, provide for the common connection, promote the general well-being of our fellow incarnations, and secure the blessings of Spirit to ourselves and our future manifestations, do ordain and establish this Constitution for a united states of consciousness.

Be it acknowledged and further expounded herein that the human iteration is unstable. The world of stuff and things and necessary yet false dichotomies imposes a kind of strain on the soul as it passes through this plane. We are thus endowed by our creator with a certain unalienable paradox for which the mind is generated to sift through and resolve in order to make sense of a senseless place.

On the psychology of spirit, it must be here entered for consideration, the notion that conscience and consciousness are expressions of the soul’s crying outward from within to re-establish the connection it severs on its journey here. That the need to categorize and determine what is up, down, right, and wrong are paramount in the inner eye’s search for the very thing it was accustomed to seeing before its arrival here. To define, if only to rectify and reconnect all the seemingly disconnected and discordant expressions that manifest themselves in a mere three dimensions.

As to the suppressive and somber stresses created by such endeavors, one can acknowledge that their necessity is inversely proportionate to their absurdity. As the chaos imbued by the incessant human need for order finds itself out of balance in the face of insistent organization by incomplete understanding, it must clearly be recognized that all attempts to do so at this level of perception are by consequence, insufficient and or inadequate.

Being so, the question must sorely and certainly be begged, why then do we persist? Why attempt at all to suffer the regales of imperfection comprising the very threads woven into the experience here? Why intentionally choose descending reality over an ascending one? How is it that Unity continually reignites itself in progressively smaller fires than the burning heart of the cosmos in which it burns?

While all efforts to proffer responses, retorts, rebuttals, and rebukes must also, and ironically, by design, assume a similar tint or shade of deficiency as contained by the very nature of inquiries they seek to answer, it must be allowed that some might choose to ask, “why bother asking?” or “why bother trying to answer?” As this is allowed, it must therefore be also admitted that many, during their stay here do in fact refuse to engage this process in any meaningful way, seeking rather to have answers given to them via doctrines and rituals, prescribed and pre-packaged for convenience. Indeed, there is an obvious consistency in the nature of the cyclical return of the soul to here with the re-issuing of simple wisdom in ever recycled iterations.

However, these questions, most principally, “Why” are as persistent as our varied and ever-evolving returns to the illusion of here and now. And persist they do, as apparently, we must as well. Involvement in such affairs is quite often the greatest source of our spiritual relief and, concurrently our greatest cause of divisions. As our ideations and vagaries tend towards the formation of frail and flimsy bubbles rubbing against one another, and, for fear of popping our own, we either avoid contact altogether or do so with such force as to burst the other bubble first or some derivation thereof.

Be it resolved therefore, that the need, to ask these questions of “why” are as integral to the process of experience as the experience itself is. Thus, the questions must be asked and will be asked whether it is our desire to do so or not. And we have, with all the banal irony surrendered to us in doing so, the bigger answer. Why ask why? And why do so, when no answer will provide a context for understanding, at least not in a manner that might help elevate us in the ultimate and meaningful sense that the soul reaches for in its aching for home?

Perhaps then, it is in the asking itself that we approach our waking experience and thus our recognition of its wile and wonder. Of its paltry imitation of grace and wholly fragmented presentation. It is in the asking that perfection ponders imperfection. That it knows itself better and more fundamentally for the seeking. It is thus the duty of each piece of the grand design to honor its place and purpose. And the asking of “why” presents each self-reflexive sliver of the universe an opportunity to see itself through the eyes of eternity and infinity.

It is these truths that we must seek to hold self-evident
