Are you a good person?

Because despite all the evil in this terrible world,

There seem to be so many good, heroic, crusading people.

I am sure that you know that you are one of them.

And yet the evil is STILL here and STILL keeps coming!

<Shrug>

And despite all the evil in this terrible world

No one seems to be calling themselves bad, villainous, or evil.

And you, yourself know for a fact that you will never be one of those sick people!

Those sorts of people are “less than human”!

.

Criminals may be doing illegal stuff,

but they still see themselves as working-class anti-heroes most of the time, while the cops are the bad guys.

Every cop knows that they are the good guys,

At least on some level, even the “realistic” compromising ones.

Every person of faith seems to be certain that their faith and only their faith is the real one.

Every person who knows “the truth” also knows that their “truth” is the only “real truth”.

Every politician knows that their political party is the only right one for their land’s future.

Every soldier knows that they are on the right side of history and that the enemy is bad.

Everyone is so certain that their opinion is right and works towards “their better world”.

Or at least to stop “a much worse world” from ever happening.

Every person that wants to change a system knows with all their heart, that the system is broken.

Every person that knows the system helps us all, knows with all their heart, that the system needs protecting.

AND YET, again, – Despite all of this!

– All These existing good, heroic, crusading people.

– with no one calling themselves bad, villainous, or evil.

– All this evil is STILL HERE and STILL keeps, now and forever, Happening!

.

Now, I know this is going to sound a bit silly and foolish.

And maybe also a bit nuts of me to say.

.

BUT what IF…?

…What if, None of us, anywhere in this world are ever the good, heroic, crusading people?

What if, We just only think that we are all good, heroic, crusading people?

What if, We are all, in reality, only ever the bad, villainous, and evil people?

But no one is ever able to see it?

.

DON’T WORRY – It was a very stupid thing for me to say,

I am sure you know for an absolute fact.

That this can never apply to you, yourself personally.

I am sure you know for an absolute fact, that even if this was even 90% true for everyone else – that you would most definitely be the exception and be one of those good, heroic, crusading people of this terrible world!

So, you can just go right ahead and keep fighting for what you believe in with absolute certainty!

THAT YOU ARE RIGHT! – THEY ARE WRONG!

You know that you have NO reason to doubt yourself at all, even a bit!

Well done You!
