Popular comedienne, Mmesoma Mercy Obi, also known as Ada Jesus was reported dead on Wednesday after a prolonged illness.

Ada Jesus was an actress, comedienne and a content creator, she was born on February 19, 1998 and hail from Orlu, Imo State. A single mother who graduated from Imo State University 'IMSU'. She has a net worth of $ 20,000

She started comedy skits and became popular on Instagram in 2018, although she does her comedy in Igbo language which makes her unique among fellow comedienne.

In February 2021, Ada Jesus's was reportedly suffers from a kidney problem which were believed to be spiritual, the comedienne leveled some allegations against a controversial pastor, ' Chukwuemeka Odumeje' , Founder of mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry Onitsha, also called Indaboski or Liquid Metal.

The late comedienne, who celebrated her birthday a few days ago at the hospital were she was being treated, battled complications from kidney diseases. She sought the forgiveness of people she offended including actress Rita Edochie and controversial Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje before she died.

In a viral video posted across all social media platform, Ada Jesus alleged that the Anambra-based prophet connived with an actress, Rita Edochie to stage fake miracles. Perhaps, months after she made the allegations, Ada Jesus was diagnosed with a kidney problem that left her incapacitated.

A friend known as 'Ella Ada' posted pictures of Ada Jesus in a pitiable condition, soliciting prayers. She posted on Facebook, ' Please pray for Ada Jesus, she's really sick and has a kidney problem, she has been admitted to hospital. Please let's pray for her, Ada, nothing will happen to you in Jesus name 'Amen".

Ada Jesus, who was paralysed and later took to ' Pastor Odumeje' for deliverance but it was reported that the cleric and Rita Edochie rejected her, instead they both laid curses and abuses on her. The popular pastor was seen in a video refusing to pray for the sick Ada Jesus, vowing that her generations will suffer for the 'insults' and lies'.

People alleged that her ailment was a result of her accusation against the prophet but instead the Popular Pastor vowed not to forgive her until she provided evidence to support her claims. In his words " You must bring to me the people that i do fake miracle with, if not when i'm done with her, i will start with your generation" Pastor Odumeje said in a video that emerged online.

The cleric who also claimed Ada Jesus ruin his image with false accusations on social media. However Rita Edochie was also present in that video also vowing not to forgive the comedienne. She was seen hurling abuse at Ada Jesus. Riita Edochie said ' You will go from here, you will die from this, so others can learn'.

Perhaps, on Sunday, April 11, 2021, the actress 'Rita Edochie' released a video on Instagram revealed that she had forgiven Ada Jesus for spreading false allegations against her and Odumeje. She said 'I am here to tell you that i have forgiven Ada Jesus, from my heart.

" Stop insulting men of God, particularly my man of God, prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanemere Odumeje. He is good for me, that is why I am with him, she stated".

" Stop mocking me because I am following Odumeje. Whateve anyone is comfortable with, let them do. I am comfortable staying with him. Look for a good place and stay. Leave us alone".
