Most people like to move with their lives after a relationship ends. But if you are the one who messed things up, you may want to fix your mistake.

Maybe the timing was off, one of you needed to grow, or you needed perspective on the relationship — but overall, the two of you go together like peanut butter and jelly and couldn’t hit things off as they should.

This might seem difficult to rekindle a lost love, but it’s not impossible.

Now that you are alone take some time apart to nurture and nourish your mind, body, and soul, so you become irresistible.

But before you get in on working your charms back into his life, you have to actually understand habits that can ruin your plan to win him back.

Don’t call or text him constantly

Most people make this horrible mistake of constantly buzzing their ex’s phones and social accounts after a breakup.

Displaying this sort of desperation shows your ex that you are absolutely miserable and broken without him. And this unattractive behavior will only push him further away.

The best way to emotionally heal after a breakup is to accept that the relationship is over. This can be difficult, especially if you were the rejected partner, but it’s important to recognize that it will never work.

Stop begging him to come back to you

I don’t know why people think this tact works because I get annoyed and irritated when people constantly beg me to do something after deciding not to do that thing.

Guys find it repulsive when women spend their product time and energy whining and begging them to reconsider taking them back.

You can never get your ex to take you back using logic. Love and emotions trump any sort of logic when it comes to romantic relationships.

Nobody is going to take you back out of pity, and if they do, that relationship is doomed to fail.

Stop saying yes to your ex

This might be difficult to ignore when you are trying to get someone back. You do everything he tells you because you want to be in his good graces. You sacrifice pretty much anything to satisfy his needs.

Being your ex’s dormant is ridiculously unattractive, and it will only make your ex desire you even less.

If you want someone to take you back, you have to make them respect you, and being their puppet doesn’t earn you points in that department.

Don’t get jealous if he’s dating again

Normally, you should be happy when your ex is moving on with their life. But sometimes, seeing your ex with someone else can trigger feelings you weren’t prepared for.

I know this is a hard nut to chew, but it isn’t that big of a deal. People use rebounds relationships as a way to distract themselves from pain.

When your ex is in a rebound relationship right after you two split, don’t fright because such relationships don’t last.

What you really need to do so relax and wither the storm, then wait for an opportunity to get him back.

Don’t lash out at your ex

Sometimes separation is not all that people feel when they are heartbroken. Some may feel rage and resentful. They physically get abusive to try and get their ex to be under their control.

It’s normal to look for an end to your pain. Yet, getting angry and vengeful may actually make you feel like a bad person who is unworthy of love and respect.

This can actually create further damage to the relationship. So stay clear of name-calling and slandering when you are hurting after a breakup.
