Imagine being a well-known gospel singer with a large and growing fan base and being “outed” on social media in a leaked Instagram video for all the world to see before you were ready.

Unfortunately, this really happened to someone a few days ago. But I’m not going to write about it here. I choose rather to extend much love and peace to the young man, his partner, and their families. I’m sure they will need plenty of both in the days to come.

However. Being the loving, and unapologetically supportive mother of a Black LGBTQ+ young adult son. What I am going to is share some encouraging quotes. Words of support for our LGBTQ+ community.

May reading these encouraging quotes make a positive impact in the world for the greater good of all.
