Beware the Sacred Indian Burial Ground. 🔥
Hikers and campers all tell the same story. If you walk upon, or near the site of the Indian burial ground of Wampum Hill, or the surrounding forest...you will hear the chanting of the Native Americans echoing upon the air. No one can pinpoint exactly where it originates or where it ends, for the Indians have long been laid to rest. It's just there. Some have even recorded it as proof.

The Ward Below
The asylum had been abandoned for thirty-seven years. Everyone in Blackwood knew why. Blackwood Psychiatric Hospital sat at the end of a dead road, surrounded by trees so thick that even sunlight seemed reluctant to enter. Three of its four floors remained standing, though the uppermost had partially collapsed. The windows were boarded. Ivy strangled the walls. Rusted ambulances sat beneath a crumbling overhang beside the emergency entrance.

Radio Head
I enjoy the aching void of silence. I love when my mind is quiet. All the voices are stilled, and there is nothing between myself and the upcoming dawn, but a cozy bed, and seven hours. I don’t care about the moon, what conjunction is where, or what misty celestial emissions may affect my dreams. I don’t have dreams. I don’t want them.

The Boy Who Walked Out of King’s Cross
A Note on Active Cases: This story concerns an active, unresolved investigation. All factual information presented here has been drawn from publicly available law-enforcement records, established news reporting, and other documented sources. Veil of Shadows does not invent evidence, embellish case details, or present speculation as fact. When theories or unconfirmed accounts are discussed, we identify them as such. Nothing presented here should be interpreted as new information concerning the investigation. Our intention is to tell the documented story accurately and respectfully, with consideration for the missing person and their family. At 11:25 on the morning of September 14, 2007, a fourteen-year-old boy walked out of King’s Cross Station in London. Around him, one of Europe’s busiest cities pulsed with life. Passengers moved through the station, trains arrived and departed, and people hurried toward offices, taxis, buses, hotels, and underground platforms. London continued doing what London does: absorbing thousands of individual lives into its streets without pausing to ask where any of them were headed.
