Hide and Seek at the MArtin House
Hide and seek at the Martin House They call it the Martin House, and it's easily the most haunted place in town. During the day, it’s a beautiful two-story estate in the Millville area. It sits behind a high gate overlooking the bay on ten acres (which comes at a high price given land costs inside Panama City). The current owner keeps up the grounds and maintains the home, but they say he will not live in the house or be there after dark. He rents it out for parties and events, lets people picnic on the grounds, and opens it during the day for tours and historical outings, but an hour before sunset, the gates are locked and the place is cleared of people.

Lost In The Forest
As the sun set behind the trees, painting the sky with shades of orange and pink like an artist’s canvas, Jane and John realized they were lost. The forest, which had seemed so beautiful during the day with its lush greenery and chirping birds like a symphony of nature, now took on a sinister appearance. The shadows grew longer, stretching out like dark fingers across the forest floor. The rustling of leaves sent shivers down their spines like icy fingers.

"The Black-Eyed Killer"
The small town of Millfield was eerily quiet, the only sound being the wind rustling through the trees. It was a place where everyone knew each other and there was rarely any need for locks on doors. That was until the strange occurrences began. It started on a Monday night. The Smith family woke up to find their front door wide open. They were sure they had locked it before going to bed, but there was no sign of forced entry. They shrugged it off as a mistake and went back to bed. The next night, it was the Johnson family that had an unusual experience. They heard a strange noise in their backyard and when they looked out, they saw nothing. But in the morning, they found inexplicable scratch marks on the back door. As the days went by, more and more odd incidents occurred. The Johnsons woke up to find their furniture rearranged, the Millers found muddy footprints leading from the bathroom to their bedroom. People started getting nervous and paranoid. The sheriff's department tried to reassure the townspeople that it was probably just a bunch of kids playing pranks. But they knew that wasn't true. Kids couldn't be responsible for some of the things that were happening. Olivia was a young woman who lived on the outskirts of Millfield. She didn't believe in ghosts or the supernatural, but the recent events had her feeling uneasy. She made sure all her windows and doors were securely locked before going to bed every night. One night, she woke up to the sound of footsteps coming from her porch. She tried to ignore it, thinking it was just an animal, but the footsteps grew louder and more deliberate. She got out of bed and tiptoed to her window, peering cautiously outside. What she saw made her breath catch in her throat. In the darkness, she could see a figure standing on her porch. It was too dark to make out any features, but she could tell it was a man. He wasn't moving, just staring up at her window. Olivia was frozen with fear. She didn't know what to do. She wanted to call the police, but she didn't want to draw attention to herself and risk the intruder breaking in. She decided to wait and see what he did next. After what felt like an eternity, the figure turned around and walked away. Olivia waited for a few minutes before mustering up the courage to check outside. The man was nowhere in sight, but she found something strange on her porch: a small black bracelet with a silver emblem. The next day, Olivia went to the sheriff's department to report the incident. They took her statement, but they didn't seem very interested. They told her they would keep an eye out, but there wasn't much they could do. Olivia felt frustrated and scared. She decided to take matters into her own hands and start investigating. She went around town asking if anyone had seen anything suspicious, but no one had. She decided to focus on the strange bracelet she had found. It seemed like the only lead she had. She went to the local jewelry store and showed it to the owner, hoping he could identify it. He examined it carefully and told her it looked like a rare piece from the 1800s. Olivia was puzzled. How could a bracelet that old end up on her porch? She started researching the history of Millfield, hoping to find some answers. What she discovered chilled her to the bone. She found out that in the late 1800s, a serial killer had terrorized the town. His name was Edward Jameson, but he was known as the Black-Eyed Butcher. He had killed over a dozen people, mostly women and children, before disappearing without a trace. Olivia couldn't believe it. Could it be possible that the Black-Eyed Butcher had returned? She felt a shiver run down her spine. She knew she had to find out more. She started digging deeper, talking to the oldest residents of Millfield, trying to find someone who remembered the days of the Butcher. She finally found an old man who had lived in the town during that time. He told her about how the town had been in a state of panic, how people had started locking their doors at night and carrying weapons. He also told her about a house on the outskirts of town where the Butcher had supposedly lived. The house had been abandoned for years, but some people still claimed to see strange things happening around it. Olivia was intrigued. She decided to visit the house and see if she could find any clues. As she drove up the long, overgrown driveway, she could feel her heart pounding in her chest. The house was old and dilapidated, but still standing. The windows were boarded up and the front door was hanging off its hinges. She cautiously approached the door and peered inside. It was dark, but she could make out the shape of furniture covered in dust and cobwebs. As she stepped inside, she felt a sudden gust of wind and the door slammed shut behind her. She tried to open it, but it wouldn't budge. She was trapped. She took out her phone, but she had no reception. She was alone in the dark, in a house that had once belonged to a serial killer. Suddenly, she heard footsteps. They were slow and deliberate, like the ones she had heard on her porch. She shone her flashlight towards the sound, but there was no one there. She could feel her heart racing, her palms getting sweaty. And then she saw it. A pair of black eyes, staring back at her from the darkness. She froze, unable to move or speak. The eyes were the only thing she could see, but she knew that behind them was the face of the killer. She could hear his breathing, slow and heavy. And then he spoke, in a voice that made her blood run cold. "Hello, Olivia."Olivia could feel her legs shaking and her voice trembling as she tried to reply to the killer. "Who are you? What do you want?" She managed to ask, her voice barely above a whisper. The black-eyed man remained silent, only watching her with a cold and steady gaze that made her fear for her life. Olivia knew that she had to do something to get out of this situation. She took a deep breath and tried to remain calm, thinking of a way to escape from the creepy house. Suddenly, she remembered the bracelet she had found on her porch. It would be her only weapon against the man. She put her hand into her pocket and pulled out the bracelet. Holding it firmly, she felt a surge of courage run through her veins. She pointed the bracelet toward the man as if it were a weapon and said: "Stay away from me. I know what you did, and I won't let you hurt anyone else." The man's black eyes widened for a moment before he let out a chilling laugh. "You're not going to stop me, Olivia," he said. "I've been waiting for someone like you for a long time. Someone who would help me complete my work." Olivia felt a wave of terror wash over her as she realized that the man was insane. She tried to keep her composure, but she was already trembling with fear. She knew that she had to act fast if she wanted to survive. Without warning, the man lunged at her. Olivia took a step back and swung the bracelet towards him with all her might. The man dodged the attack and tackled her to the ground, pinning her down with his weight. Olivia screamed and tried to push him off, but he was too strong. She felt his cold hands around her neck, choking her, and she knew that she was going to die. She could feel herself losing consciousness when suddenly, she heard a loud bang. The man let out a groan and fell to the side. Olivia coughed and gasped for air as she tried to get up. She looked around for the source of the noise and saw a police officer standing at the door, aiming a gun at the man. The officer rushed to her side and helped her to her feet. "Are you okay?" he asked. Olivia nodded, still in shock. She looked at the man on the floor and saw that he wasn't moving. She knew that he was dead. The officer escorted her out of the house and took her to the sheriff's department. They took her statement and filed a report. Olivia was grateful to be alive, but she couldn't shake off the feeling of dread that lingered in her heart. She couldn't believe that a serial killer had been living in her town all this time, and that she had come so close to being his next victim. She knew that she would never be the same again. The events of that night haunted her for the rest of her life. She never forgot the cold, black eyes of the killer, or the feeling of being trapped and alone in that creepy old house. But she also never forgot the courage she had found within herself when faced with danger. Olivia became a local hero, a symbol of bravery and strength in the face of terror. Her story was told for generations to come, a reminder to all that evil can lurk in the most unexpected places.

The Living Library: Unlocking Human Stories
Deep within the heart of a forgotten town stood an ancient and foreboding building—the Living Library. For decades, the residents had whispered stories of its haunted nature, a place where books came alive and terror reigned. Most feared the library, but there were a few brave souls who dared to venture inside, driven by an insatiable curiosity that gnawed at their very core. Emily, a young and inquisitive writer, was among those who sought the truth. With her pen as her companion, she was determined to unravel the mysteries that lay within the Living Library's walls. She pushed open the heavy wooden doors, and the musty scent of old parchment filled her nostrils. The air was thick with anticipation. Rows upon rows of towering bookshelves stretched before her, their spines glinting in the dim light. As Emily stepped forward, a gust of wind blew through the hall, causing the books to tremble as if awakening from a deep slumber. Goosebumps prickled her skin as she ventured deeper into the labyrinthine maze of knowledge. The silence was broken by whispers, carried on the wind. Words she couldn't decipher echoed through the aisles, and the books seemed to shudder in response. Emily shivered, but her determination propelled her forward. In the heart of the library, she discovered a book with a worn, leather cover—The Chronicles of Despair. Its title sent a chill down her spine, but curiosity got the better of her. She opened it and began to read, oblivious to the dark forces she was about to unleash. As Emily delved into the pages of The Chronicles of Despair, the library transformed before her eyes. The once familiar halls twisted and contorted, becoming a nightmarish landscape of cobwebs and decaying shelves. The air grew colder, and the whispers grew louder, their words filled with malevolence. The books on the shelves morphed into grotesque creatures, their pages alive with writhing tentacles and sharp teeth. They slithered from their resting places, surrounding Emily with their macabre presence. Panic seized her, but she couldn't tear her gaze away from the horrific sight. Suddenly, the books lunged at her, their pages tearing through the air with a horrifying swiftness. Emily tried to escape, but she was trapped in a whirlwind of malevolent literature. The books clawed at her flesh, leaving bloody trails in their wake. Desperation filled her eyes as she fought to break free. Just as Emily's strength waned, a figure materialized amidst the chaos—a ghostly librarian. His eyes glowed with a spectral light, and his voice echoed with the anguish of the damned. "Foolish mortal," he hissed. "You have awakened the ancient curse that binds this library. Prepare to become one with the lost souls trapped within its walls." Emily's heart sank, realizing her fate was sealed. But then a surge of defiance coursed through her veins. She reached for her pen, her most loyal companion, and with trembling hands, she began to write. The words flowed from her, filling the air with a radiant light. The library groaned and trembled, unable to bear the purity of her words. The ghosts howled in agony as their essence dissolved into the ether. In a final act of desperation, the ghostly librarian lunged at Emily, his ethereal claws outstretched. But she stood her ground, her pen an instrument of defiance. With a swift stroke, Emily inscribed her fate and the fate of the Living Library. The building collapsed in on itself, the weight of its haunted history finally crumbling into dust. Emily emerged from the ruins, her body battered and bruised, but her spirit unbroken. As the dust settled, she looked around, realizing that the curse had been lifted. The town, once shrouded in fear, was now bathed in a newfound sense of peace. The Living Library was no more, and its horrors would forever remain confined to the pages of history. Emily, hailed as a hero, was celebrated by the townspeople. They recognized her bravery in facing the terrors that had plagued them for generations. However, deep within her heart, she carried the weight of the horrors she had witnessed. Haunted by the memories, Emily became consumed by an obsession to ensure that such malevolence would never be unleashed again. She dedicated her life to studying the supernatural, seeking answers in the darkness that had almost consumed her. Years passed, and Emily's reputation as an expert in the occult grew. She traveled the world, facing countless horrors and unraveling mysteries that would make even the bravest souls tremble. But she never forgot the price she had paid within the haunted pages of the Living Library. One fateful night, as she delved into an ancient tome in her study, Emily came across a passage that sent a chill down her spine. It spoke of a new library—a secret one hidden from the eyes of the world. A place where the darkness thrived and the nightmares had taken a new form. Driven by a mix of curiosity and an unyielding desire to protect others, Emily embarked on a perilous journey to locate this forbidden library. Armed with her knowledge and experience, she ventured into the darkest corners of the earth, following whispers and cryptic clues. Finally, in a forgotten corner of an ancient city, she found it—the Haunted Pages, a malevolent sibling to the Living Library. Its walls breathed with an ancient evil, and its books pulsed with malevolence. Emily's heart pounded in her chest as she realized the magnitude of the task before her. With a heavy heart, she stepped into the Haunted Pages, fully aware of the dangers that awaited her. The horrors within were unlike anything she had ever faced. Each step she took was accompanied by eerie whispers, and the books seemed to watch her with hungry anticipation. Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, as Emily delved deeper into the Haunted Pages. She encountered unspeakable terrors, facing creatures that defied imagination and nightmares that threatened to consume her very soul. Yet, Emily pressed on, her will unwavering. She fought against the darkness, armed with her pen and the knowledge she had acquired over the years. Every stroke of her pen was a battle cry against the encroaching malevolence. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Emily reached the heart of the Haunted Pages—a forbidden chamber that held the source of the library's power. With a mixture of dread and determination, she entered, prepared to face the ultimate horror. But what she discovered shattered her spirit. The source of the library's power was not a creature or an ancient artifact—it was herself. The darkness had lured her, used her own obsession against her, and trapped her within its sinister web. Despair consumed Emily as she realized the truth—she had become the very thing she had sought to destroy. The Haunted Pages fed off her fear, her obsession, and her unyielding quest for knowledge. She was forever doomed to wander the cursed halls, tormented by the horrors she had once fought against. And so, the tale of Emily, the fearless writer turned captive, became yet another chapter in the twisted history of the Haunted Pages. Her screams echoed through the night, blending with the whispers of the male volent books that surrounded her. Forever trapped in the haunted library, Emily's existence became an endless cycle of torment and fear. The townspeople, unaware of her fate, mourned the loss of their beloved hero. Legends of her bravery and sacrifice were passed down through generations, but the truth of her terrible fate remained buried within the haunted pages. Years turned into centuries, and the Haunted Pages continued to lure unsuspecting victims into its clutches, perpetuating its cycle of terror. The library became a cursed monument, a beacon for the curious and the unfortunate. Over time, whispers of the Haunted Pages reached the ears of brave adventurers, drawn by tales of the library's terrifying power. Some sought to destroy it, believing that by doing so, they could release the tormented souls trapped within. Others sought to harness its dark energy for their own nefarious purposes. But no matter their intentions, the Haunted Pages always claimed its victims. Each one met a fate worse than death, their essence absorbed into the malevolent depths of the library, adding to its ever-growing power. And so, the haunted library stood as a testament to the insidious nature of knowledge and the relentless pursuit of the unknown. Its stories whispered through the shadows, warning those who dared to listen of the dangers that lay within. The Haunted Pages became a cautionary tale, a reminder that some knowledge is better left buried, and that the allure of the forbidden can lead to a fate far worse than imaginable. As the centuries passed, the memory of Emily faded into the annals of history, her sacrifice forgotten by all but the walls that held her captive. The Haunted Pages remained, a silent sentinel in the darkness, waiting for its next unsuspecting victim. And so, the story of the Haunted Pages continues, with each turn of the page adding a new chapter to its ever-growing legacy of fear and despair. Those who dare to seek its secrets are forever ensnared, their souls lost within its cursed confines, adding to the never-ending nightmare that is the Haunted and Living Library. ( HUMAYOON ARAIN )

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'Jeepers Creepers: Reborn' (2022)
I was told that pedo Victor Salva didn't have his grubby little hands all over this extension of the franchise. I was lied to. That fucking greasy pedo still owns the IP and gets royalties. So, before we get any further, don't watch this movie. Salva doesn't deserve a dime of your money. There's nothing in this movie that makes it worth compromising your dignity. Fucking Salva is like the Harvey Weinstein of horror. I can't tell if it's ironic that he named his monster 'The Creeper' or if it's completely on brand for him. But yeah, fuck Salva and fuck this movie, don't watch it. If you REALLY want to know what this movie is about, read my review instead...
